My wife saw you sit down on the front bumper and said, "Life is good for Martijn." Bravo and congratulations. We are grateful to get to experience a part of your life. Thank you.
Yes Martijn was so happy taking that turn even without power steering, and here we are in cities “driving to work with power steering but with seemingly no use of it majorly”. I aspire to live like Martijn soon, wish you the best as well !

Never apologise for things that make you happy and don't hurt anyone. You just had the biggest smile on your face the entire time you were driving that car, how lovely!
I use to drive those landrovers, and with hindsight and being around several nasty accidents with them, I would suggest getting a safety devices roll cage for the Landrover. The area where you live is prone to roll overs. A roll bar and wearing seatbelt will mean your chickens getting fed and your beautiful home being finished. Telling you out of respect and love, but please consider one, and do not let your male machismo say no. Love your channel, and it's a privilege that you share your life with us.

Hi everyone. Don’t forget to hit that “like” button! Share and subscribe would be nice, too. Martijn works hard every week to bring us a new video for our viewing pleasure. A lot of work goes into filming. Positioning the camera. Repositioning the camera. Using the drone. But, mostly, doing all of the editing to bring us a pleasantly cohesive masterpiece each week. So, please don’t forget to hit the like button. Thank you.
If you’ve ever bought something that didn’t make sense but was a passion project and can’t help but smile when you look at it. You understand this Land Rover purchase. It’s giving me the itch too! Well done.
As a Finn(ish person) I love the idea of the sauna. Sauna can be even combined with a simple shower, we have that a lot in cabins. Sauna stoves also often heat some water as well, so it can be multifunctional. I recommend a Finnish sauna company for the sauna stove. Harvia is probably the most well known. Finns invented sauna (it's even a Finnish word) so we do it best. :)
The effort of the opening shot!! What a lovely look at the landscape, showing how the mountains appear so abruptly! Wonderful. And who can resist an old Land Rover? They are a thing of beauty!
I've never seen you smile that much in your entire series! That smile says it all, brother! It complements the vibe perfectly regardless, enjoy! It's surely happy in its new adventures and home.
Boy, this one really brought back some memories for me. I immigrated to British Columbia, Canada in the the early 1970s when I was 21. My first purchase was my red 4 cylinder Landrover, aluminum with a hand crank. We went everywhere through the interior of BC a kayak, and tent on the roof. Slow, rough, but went everywhere. My Toyota Rav4 is great, but no character. Only thing in common is me, now 71, and the surfski on the roof, instead of the downriver kayak I used to paddle. Thank you Martin for bringing back some good memories. My first Landrover stayed in North America when I moved to Teyateyaneng, Lesotho, Africa with a mohair trading license, everything there at the time in 70s was no road, horses and walk and another Landrover too but thats a different story. Good to see you every week, working dreaming and doing. Thanks again for sharing your story.

100% agree. I'll also never tire of making people aware of just how much effort goes into these "nice looking shots". Scouting an interesting scene, planning and setting up the camera/drone, performing the scene as naturally as possible, taking down the camera/drone again, repeat that many many many times a day, sifting through and editing the footage to just the best parts, wrapping everything into coherent storytelling, tie it together with a great soundscape. So. much. effort. And it's not just the obviously grand shots. Every single little scene - - "Martjin walks past the swing", "Martijn lets out the chickens", "Martijn preps coffee" - is effort that adds up.
Thank you for sharing another week of your life with us Martijn. Seeing snow on the mountain tops already and the sound of the cow bells always makes me smile

I had a beautiful 2002 Land Cruiser that I drove for nearly 10 years before trading it in on a truck. I did a lot of horse camping and I was afraid I’d pull the guts out of my Cruiser. I have missed it ever since..

Love your documentary weekly vlogs. Happy for you. Ages ago, when I lived in a hand-hewn log house built by my partner, on a river in the woods, I drove an old 1930's power wagon, a logging machine which in lowest low gear, I could get out and walk beside, steering through the window, for slogging through boggy land. Great fun in old cars hey!

Love your videos every week and got a kick out of you laughing and enjoying your drive home with the new, vintage Land Rover. Made my day to see you enjoying life!
loved to see how much fun you were having driving that old beast up the road!
Best Sunday morning ever. Love this morning and love seeing you on Sunday morning ❤️
Through your videos we get to have a feel of living in the alps please always keep it coming ❤❤❤
You can see in your face the joy and excitement driving the car brings you, how many cars today will still be driving 50years down the line ? I hope it brings you many more years of joy and memories that will last a lifetime 👍
The Land Rover fits the scenery really well, I hope you have fun with it
Улыбка,Мартин,замечательная,чаще улыбайтесь !!!
Your videos are very cinematic. You are an artist.
Sometimes you just need to let go of what's practical and do what makes your heart sing. Your face when talking about that Rover says enough.
Hello Martim, first early snows, the first autumn rains, the new acquisition ... all of this is part of another wonderful video
The charms of summer gradually give way to the charms of autumn in this piece of paradise that makes me yearn more and more for something similar 🏞️
Until the next video 🙏
So good to see the joy in your face again!
Your new vehicle is a great new friend for you. Watching parts of your life unfold gives me tremendous hope and inspiration. Living creatively is one of the most truly, fulfilling life experiences. As an artist and architect who deals with the preservation and interpretation of material culture, I am so grateful for your generosity of spirit and sharing. Thank you so very much brother.
Thank you Martijn for inspiring us!
Sauna! Yes! If You have friends in Finland, ask them, they propably knows best about saunas.

Lovely to see you so happy. As an amateur car buff I totally get the joy in having a vehicle that you love.
That Land Rover body style is my favorite. Such a cool addition to your life.
I haven't seen that joyful, excited smile in a long time. So happy for you Martijn!
Such a sweet ride with rich history. Great to see that you also enjoy what it means to own a classic!
Couldn't imagine a car that fits better the whole project, lifestyle and picture, hope to see it run all year round!

I see the white hen, has claimed the rooster,,, 💕
a friend of mine had one in the early nineties, everyone used to jump in it and we'd go to techno parties allover the UK, we called it the 'LAND RAVER'!
The cows and cow-bells compliment the slow-entertainment style. They always make me smile, remembering my times in the Italian and Swiss alpes in summer.
How much fun is that!! Suites you perfectly you look good in it!! Smile on your face tells it all!!
Good morning Martijn. The work is really progressing quickly. Couldn’t believe the snow on the mountain so early. Hope you enjoy your new vehicle. You seem very happy with it and you really enjoy driving it. Your suggestion of a sauna is awesome. Nothing would be better during the cold winter. Looking forward to see the work go forth. Have a great week and stay safe.
