Benson I don't care how many people see this but I need to get this off my chest. My grandpa died two years ago in February and he was a father figure more than my dad when he left, then later that year I lost my great grandpa and beloved dog which just kept digging my hole deeper. After this I felt suicidal but I made more friends, went to church and made a better relationship with God and now I'm 14 with a wonderful girlfriend and life got better. This song helped me cope more when I heard it for the first time.
This song is extra emotional and poignant because it's a mix of a lot of pain and relief. I lost my cousin very suddenly recently, and my dog shortly before that, but was away from home and in basic training and didn't have time to process. But the song is also a huge feeling of relief because one of my best friends fought PTSD for years from personal tragedy and came so close to suicide so many times, but they've found healing in the last year or so and are safe and very happy now. Thank you for such a beautiful song; it's cathartic, and it's a place for hurting people to gather and help each other. None of you are alone.

This song just reminded me of all the hard times I've gone through. It has also reminded me of how strong I am. It reminded me of a part of me that I lost 8 years ago. I'm 17 now and I think always never giving up is the best option. Most ppl think that when a kid smiles or looks jolly all the time is a happy kid who has everything in life. But what most ppl don't know is that most kids have a hard time under those smiles. If any parent ever reads this comment, please pay attention to your kids. They don't have to go through it alone like I did. Trust me it's the most painful thing a child can experience. It can leave permanent scars that can't be healed. This is me as well. My grandma died 6 years before I was born. She died in July 2006 from a stroke. She has polio and it's really hard to think about the struggle she went through. Benson I don't care how many people see this but I need to get this off my chest. My grandpa died two years ago in February and he was a father figure more than my dad when he left, then later that year I lost my great grandpa and beloved dog which just kept digging my hole deeper. After this I felt suicidal but I made more friends, went to church and made a better relationship with God and now I'm 14 with a wonderful girlfriend and life got better. This song helped me cope more when I heard it for the first time.

This song is extra emotional and poignant because it's a mix of a lot of pain and relief. I lost my cousin very suddenly recently, and my dog shortly before that, but was away from home and in basic training and didn't have time to process. But the song is also a huge feeling of relief because one of my best friends fought PTSD for years from personal tragedy and came so close to suicide so many times, but they've found healing in the last year or so and are safe and very happy now. i recently lost my dad and this beautiful song was played at his cremation ceremony and everytime that when i hear that song on the radio than it's just impossible for me to hold back my tears and the reason for this is because i didn't had the chance to see my dad and say goodbye before he passed away. and that's still hurts so much even after almost three years and i really miss him so much.
