The 88 contest was only better if you are talking star power,the two biggest names in dunking going head to head.But for just dunking the 2016 contest is the best I have seen,simply amazing.I think the Aaron Gordon dunk over the mascot and under both legs might be the greatest contest dunk I have ever seen.2020 might be a close second.

In Chicago, they had every right to lowball Nique--because he did the same few dunks(even in the same contest). 1 or 2 handed windmill or 360! Being repetitive is bad in almost any artist competition. For that not to be the case, you had to have a really hard dunk to pull off(not a dunk that people may have been doing in HS). Jordan did different dunks often; the only one that he repeats is the FT line dunk(which is his best dunk).

I watch Wilt block Kareem's Skyhook at least 3 times in the same defensive sequence. Kareem got the ball back off the deflection at least 3 times and failed to get the ball over Wilt. You can find this footage on TH-cam easily. Wilt was an Olympic level athlete without basketball. He was a Track & Field athlete. He competed in the high jump and the long jump, and obviously could run fast AF.
