The anchor is a perfect example of how cheap is "malayalis" point of view about movies. Lijo's approach of narrating a story and capturing it on camera can be compared to three great film makers. First one is the director which he admires the most. That is K.G. George. Another one is Stanley Kubrick and Ridley Scott. The way he makes actors act, uses symbols and allegories, amazing visual experience, biblical symbols, scientific thoughts etc. And gives audience something to think rather than spoon feeding makes him unique.
