Thank you for a genius solution to my dilemma 🙌. I don’t have the space for a design wall so this cheap, portable and easy to make version solves my problem. 🥰🤩💕
Another great, practical & affordable idea. Thank you. I made a small ‘book’ that has a 9”x12” cutting mat on one side, an ironing pad opposite it, and it opens up to two sides of felt to use for designing. It’s a small multi-purpose design/cut/press 3-in-1. I used foam core board. I use it on a lazy Susan to cut smaller pieces. All at a fraction of the price of a spinning rotary cutting mat.

I was thinking of ways to make something like because I like to have certain things close by when doing my sewing and I could even use it to hold my phone when doing housework. last fall i had a corkboard that i'd put flannel to tell stories with flannel pieces, so i tried it to be a design board, but it had to be tilted...the batting must work better than flannel
NO! YOU SAID EASY! NOT COMPLEX! IT IS NOT EASY. YOUR EXPLAINATION IS TOO BUSY AND COMPLEX FOR MY LITTLE TINY MIND. YOU TRIED. THANKS. i' ll figure out something..it a good idea. But why not use just a piece of Styrofoam And push pin fabric or white flannel to it and just do what you can? I guess as an artist that my way to save egergy for the art and creativity. ☺

I use foam backed car headliner fabric for my design wall.
A flannel backed table cloth can be used to cover the display board.
Do you have a video on how to make that adorable, pink, sewing holster that you are wearing 4:44? 💜🌞🌵
