This EOTW is one of the best I have ever heard in all my Dead listening from 65-95. The dynamics, all the different rhythmic things they try, the band knowing Jerry was awake and alert, Jerry in rare form (for the time period unfortunately). This is a must listen for any deadhead. Even Vince was killing it. This audience recording is incredible, too. Wonderful camera work and audio! It really captures the loud and quiet bits of the jams, and jerry's guitar comes through much better here than on the soundboard. You know it's a special EOTW because Jerry closes out the song with a smile on his face, you can see the "damn I've still got it" look in his eyes. I'm sure he wasn't thinking too highly of himself by this point. This show must have been like a beam of light in the darkness to these guys.
Thank you so much for commenting, it felt so good to tape these shows way back when. I knew it was a matter of time before the band had some sort of an ending, and there was no way I wasn’t going to document as much as I could while I could. It was one hell of an Eyes💜
@@PurpleMrMojo And thank YOU so much for taping!!! Making it possible for a 22 year old like myself to enjoy the Grateful Dead as authentically as possible. How lucky am I to be born in a time period where I can listen to pretty much any show I want at the press of a few keys? All thanks to you guys of course. I couldn't be more grateful for the work all you tapers put in 😁
My memories of deadtour are a bit faded after all these years but I know I saw 2 out of 3 in Vegas in ‘94 and I know I only ever saw morning dew one on 5/31/92 so for sure this is the Vegas ‘94 show I skipped .. glad you recorded it and I can enjoy it now!! Inspiration!! ..move me brightly..
3:05 Victim or the Crime 13:42 Eyes of the World 32:10 Box of Rain 37:28 Saint of Circumstance 45:05 Terrapin Station (with outstanding jam) 1:08:08 Drums 1:21:38 Space 1:29:44 The Wheel 1:34:05 All Along the Watchtower 1:40:27 Morning Dew 1:53:33 Encore: US Blues This was one of the best second sets of 1994, played in 115 degree temperatures. Easily one of my most memorable Grateful Dead experiences.
My favourite ‘94 Set 2 is 11-29-94 .. I was front row center that night so I’m a bit partial of course … this set is outstanding too though .. A BOX OF RAIN WILL EASE THE PAIN & LOVE WILL SEE YOU THROUGH …
The Saint > terrapin are two of my favorite versions of all time. There was a magic this night. Was mind blowing to witness and wonderful to see here. Thank you .
Was in attendance this night and previous night! This was definitely the highlight of the two. :) Good memories of a very hot day with red dust in the air, beautiful ladies in sundresses, helping a dude carry a very heavy cooler down the middle of Shakedown St and being rewarded with two ice cold Heinekens, trading a spare ticket for some wonderful shrooms, and then sharing them with my pals as we enjoyed this killer show! What a day!!!!
This was my first and only Dead show. Was blown away by this experience. I will never forget how powerful the love energy was. It has stayed with me all these years and my life was changed that summer.
Mind blowing quality! Thank you so very much for creating and sharing these gems with us. MUCH LOVE from Seattle! I caught this whole west coast run.... dang Vegas was HOT!
Hottest show I have ever been to. Second was Judas Priest in Pueblo Co 84 at like 105. It was no joke 115 this day. I had a little Hyundai and the a/c barley worked so Fing hot 🥵! Traffic was amazing as well. During Dear Mr Fantasy Jerry and Debra watching from side of stage. Man 27 years fly's by fast NFA 65-95!!!
Attending this show was one of the highlights of my life!!! That morning dew is one of the best of all time! Anyone remember the aggro water ladies at intermission filling up bottles? When we finally got ours filled it was like the best fucking thing in the world!!
Thank you for sharing this! I was there one of these nights too. It might have been '95 because it wasn't long after the concert that we lost Jerry. But it was a beautiful show. Thanks again.
One of my favorite shows of the year. Eugene 3rd day was good too, and 2nd night Deer Creek. Those were my top three for 94. I take all comers....Who disagrees? Who agrees?
Jerry is not anywhere near his best here, sadly. Very far from it, actually. However, the rest of the band still carries a mighty power (and Jerry still has his moments)!

Gorgeous footage. A stunning Eyes. A time machine to happy days when Jerry G wandered the land.

It was so damn hot that weekend. It is amazing that any tape recordings made it out at all.

Victim of the crime was one of the best spacey psychedelic Type song that really brought out serious creativity out of the Grateful Dead.

Phenomenal show. It was hot as hell, and I think it went on close to midnight.
Thank you.. my first show... and my first tab.. also my first miracle... Not to mention the nitrous
The same for me was 4 years earlier in Chicago 💜

WAS HERE!!! #NFA I remember that wind, those screens and Jerry's hair was flying!!!!!!!!! I could NOT believe the Dew/USBLUES. WHAT A NIGHT!!!!
Nice, always cool to see the full light setup that the Dead had. Pretty good show too, anytime you get a Dew.....
Wow. I can't believe this is on here. Thank you.
thank you
This show was our honeymoon destination. We camped at Lake Mead. No free drinks at the nickel slots when you are a stinky hippie.
Thank you. *there 🙏

me -10-1-94
3/27/94
This was the only Vegas show that I missed. My friend told me it was the best one, but I think 91 and 93 are better
Agreed. 4/27/91 and 5/16/93 are leagues beyond this show.
The Grateful are a tool in the hands of almighty GOD to speed light and joy to the world!!!😀👻💀🎸
