    This is for me the most beautiful springer air rifle of all !!!

      I agree. It gets even better with a little extra oil finish or wax on the stock.

      I've just bought one, partly to take me back to my childhood. I've vowed to never sell it. I've pretty much already passed it down to my Grandson!

      Have you ever seen an impact (formally theoben) RM100 gas ram? Now they are as stunning as a walnut prosport.

    I`ve had mine for ten years now, it`s a terrific rifle. It`s a .22 with a gorgeous stock. I use a Leupold 3-9x33 VFR scope.

    Nice shooting Charles... Those Prosports are awesome rifles along with the TXs... I find my AA TX prehaps unsurprisingly shoots AA Diablo Fields the best closely followed by QYS Domed 👍👍👍

      Thanks, I'm trying to tell myself I don't want a TX200. I have 4 nice underlevers now, But I've always liked those fish scales on the stock. Such a nice looking airgun. The AA Diablo's make sense, Their re-branded JSB's the same as these FX's I'm shooting. I've never tried the QYS pellets.

      @@PiperX1X I have been researching the exact same thing. There's stains, but I didn't want to go that route yet. I have about decided not to really darken mine, but still not sure. I have a BSA R10 mk2 that I've had 8 years with a walnut stock similar to the Pro Sport I been trying to decide on too lol. There is a red walnut stain that I may try on my BSA R10 stock first.

      @@charlesoutdoors2424 I’ve have the HW97 in 22 and is a back up rifle for vermin control or if I just want to go back to my roots and to keep my eye in but it hits rats hard but totally different to the pro sport regarding the trigger. Weihrauch’s are renowned for their superb rekord trigger but the pro sport is definitely better in my opinion a lot smoother and crisp than the Weihrauch.

    Mine almost takes the thrill out of precision shooting, almost 😊👍. You probably won’t be doing any off hand shooting with this but it’s my favorite springer by far! Hades are amazing grouping pellets out of it.

  • @AGDavid
    @AGDavid 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    Nice video. Awesome new into 👍 Did you darken the stock or is it just the lighting? Did you settle on the medium rings? And is that Hawke a FFP or SFP?
    It’s hard to believe the first one left the factory in its condition. Glad your replacement is up to AA quality and standards.

    • @charlesoutdoors2424
      @charlesoutdoors2424  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I haven't done anything to the stock yet. It could look darker at times due to the lighting, but I believe the video captures it pretty close to true color. That and I also made adjustments in editing to make sure it wasn't darker or lighten than it is. The Hawke medium rings had the scope scope close the A/O ring would rub so I kept them for another gun and ordered some really nice UTG PRO rings for it. Still Medium's because they are listed to work with a 40mm scope and these do. Not sure what was up with the Hawke rings. It's a SFP scope. I found them on sale again from the same place and ordered another. Then they raised the price up again lol. I'm not sure if I would like the reticle being larger when on 12 or 16 power as happens with a FFP scope so I'm not to worried about getting one.

    • @AGDavid
      @AGDavid 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@charlesoutdoors2424 Rad, so the medium rings worked. I didn’t realize the Hawke is only 40mm. My Athlon is 44mm, it’s probably why I ended up with high rings.
      Time to do a head to head video, UK vs German springers 😬 My personal bias will be towards the PS 😁

    • @charlesoutdoors2424

      @@AGDavid This Airmax is the one inch tube instead of the 33mm. It keeps the weight down on these heavy underlevers. I think the next one is going on my HW95 Walnut. The Walnut stocks are lighter than beech also. The Pro Sport may be my favorite. I hate to speak too soon since I've only shoot it for 2-3 hours, most that waiting on the wind to die down.

    • @charlesoutdoors2424
      @charlesoutdoors2424  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      How so? I've considered the TX200 for a long time and make get one someday. You can't beat the clean look of the Pro Sport with its hidden underlever. I don't see the TX200 being more accurate or having a better balance. Both can be disassembled easily. The TX200 is easier to cock and has fish scale pattern that looks awesome. It's a little cheaper. What makes it better?

    • @charlesoutdoors2424
      @charlesoutdoors2424  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @richardbrooks1488 The Hidden cocking lever is the main selling point that sets it apart from all other underlevers. Not having the cocking arm exposed under the barrel. As shoots better, that debate has been going on since the Pro Sport came out 😆. Accuracy wise, one has no advantage over the other. It's just a matter of preference and price.

    • @charlesoutdoors2424
      @charlesoutdoors2424  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@richardbrooks1488 Your right. I believe the Pro Sport came out around 1993 and took like 8 years to get the hidden underlever cocking system worked out. Very few high end spring airguns have changed much in the last 30-50. This leaves the Pro Sport as one of the best looking and shooting springers of all times. It takes the form of a tradition hunting rifle without a cutout for a break barrel or a lever exposed to cock the rifle. It takes more cocking effort, but worth it to those than can handle it without issues. The reason I've wanted the Pro Sport for so long and finally bought one is looks. No other springer looks like the Pro Sport. Absolutely gorgoues with the clean lines without an exposed cocking lever. I have plenty of super accurate springer that will shoot jagged holes at 25 yards if I do my part. None do it better or with more style than the Pro Sport.

    Hw97k tx200hc or pro sport.
    If you can only choose 1

    • @charlesoutdoors2424
      @charlesoutdoors2424  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If I could choose only one, it would be the Pro Sport. It's only downside is it's harder to cock until you get use to doing it. The Pro Sport comes factory tuned and has no spring buzz. Pro Sport unless the harder cocking effort is an issue. Have to learn how and where to hold it standing or sitting. Otherwise the TX200hc just because the fish scales cut into the stock looks amazing and it can be torn down easily in minutes to tune it. If I didn't mind spending the money and could find a HW97k 125th edition available for pre-order, and didn't mind the wait that might sway me to the HW97k 125th edition. If I didn't have the Blue HW97K I would have ordered one already. I don't see them listed on the AOA sight so they may be out of pre-orders. Would have to call to see but they are pricey. AOA does have the HW97K in Walnut if you decide to go that route. I love the looks of the Pro Sport and it may be more accurate than my HW97k, or just a bit less hold sensitive.

      @@Brock-Lesnar-WWE I really don't know what your experience level is or what you what type of shooting you do. These underlevers are heavy even at the bench. Unless you really are in to precision shooting, I really like my HW95. I also have a HW50s 125th edition ordered. These guns are just a joy to shoot without the workout. The HW100 is nice and much lighter than the underlevers. They Have the 125th edition in that too that looks awesome. PCP's are easier to shoot, easier to buy scopes for, but stopping and refilling and carrying a tank or compressor around is a bit of a drag. I'm about to start shooting the few PCP's I have again. Ordered a portable compressor to fill them with, going to skip the tank this time.
