I’ve had my lefty Tx200 walnut stock for twenty years. It’s never let me down and would never sell it . Us lefty’s must stick together!!😊 and get as much enjoyment oiling it as I do shooting it! Thank you for this upload cheers buddy happy safe shooting to one and all regards👍👍👍
Hi Sed, a very quick & easy tune up is to squirt some "Triflon" into the cylinder. It dries out & leaves a very thin coating of Teflon with NO Dieseling. It comes with a flexible, tube applicator which goes into the transfer port.
Got some boiled linseed and given it its first rub over and looking great already but want it darker so it’s going to take a few more applications yet.
Good review there fella, I'm in the market for a new springer and I've narrowed it down to a Ratworks tuned hw97 or a tx 200. Would you say the 97 is any easier to cock and load? Some say the trigger is better on the tx?
@Lander76 it's 6 of one and half a dozen of the other. If they are coming from ratwork, I really don't think you will be disappointed. I can load my pellets the same in both. You get used to it. The truth is that one week, I love the TX200 more, and the next, it's the HW97K. Good luck 🤞
A great rifle but the out of the box recoil was a bit too harsh for me so I dropped a Tinbum conversion kit in mine and it shoots reareally sweet now (,177). With JSB heavies, no joke it's putting pellet on pellet at 30 yards. It doesn't seem that pellet fussy either. Mine is only in beach but still looks lovely with what I think is the best quality blueing of any manufacturer 😊👍
You won’t have trouble selling it pal, let me know if you ever decide to sell it, I’m a cuddy wifter too. I have the pro sport in walnut lefty version. Bloody lovely rifle, I’m thinking of ditching my pcp because the amount of shooting I tend to do nowadays a springer can cope just as well. Took my hw97 out to check zero and took my phone with me and did a quick video for my pipe channel, three pellets through the same hole at 30 yards so I quit while I was ahead didn’t want to fluff it on a fourth shot!😂 have you oiled the stock on the TX if so what did you use?
I shot the TX Sunday at the UKAHFT NATIONAL STICK COMPETITION, and I was blown away with the results, I came 11th out of 41. I was the only springer there. I was 7 points behind the top score . The guys at the top win comps are the time, and they shot pcp, I've got the trigger perfect now. The stock I use is boiled linseed oil, I rub it all over and just wipe it off. It brings the grain out and looks amazing, and it's cheap
Yes, you gotta have a good scope. The Optisan CP 3-12×32 is the scope that gives me my best accuracy. I've tried a few scopes on it, but I don't get the results as I do with the CP
I just shot mine at the UKAHFT NATIONAL STICK COMPETITION on Sunday, and I was very happy with my score, It's definitely my main gun now. I was very hesitant to use it instead of my hw97, but after Sunday, I've totally made my mind up. I have a 177 and a 22 in a hw97k, so I think the tx200 22 will be the next one
Trust me, the 97 is fantastic. The TX took a good few weeks before it became my main gun, and it's only been my main one for a few days, BUT it could all change overnight. The plan is for me to use my TX for HFT and my 97 for FT. This will save me swapping scopes all the time, and I'm more confident at longer ranges with my 97. And tbh if you got a 97, you don't need a TX only reason I got one cos I had a hw100 and realised I don't like pcp guns so I part ex it for the TX.
You create a monster 👹 I got hw77, Hw80k, hw99s, hw97, cometa usc400. They all shoot shit. But like to polish them, lol 😂 pcp not for me. Bullseye every time. One/hour. Does me.

@@shirleydrury5565 I'm thinking of getting a .22 as well. Gotta get a matching pair.
Thanks for the comment. Take care ✌️😎

Thanks, Martin, much appreciated 👍
never use teflon or in a aircilinder its poison ,beter dont use it anywhere again

Cool, I love the smell of it. It reminds me of a cricket bat 😆 🤣
Keep on rubbing it and hopefully a genie will come out 😇
What a cracking review
I'm glad you liked it,
Thank you.
That's lovely isenit boyo - look you!

@@SedEdwards Thanks man, if only I had the funds to buy both!
Nice set up Sed! I have the same set-up which is running at 11.4 foot pounds. Sadly I couldn't use it at the Recoiling Championships.
Maybe next year.

Sound like your next to a motorway
@markmaloney5146 Yeah, it's not the quietists of ranges.
@@SedEdwards I pass there often but never stopped.
@markmaloney5146 Nelson is my main range because of the HFT course. This one is an FT ground but nice and local and handy to pop up for a shoot
Great review 👍I shoot left handed that’s a beautiful gun spoke to matin the other day about joining hopefully see you over the Clùb soon 👍
Thanks.
Look forward to meeting you. ✌️😎
The guns are ok but the real secret is the scope those Optisan scopes are fantastic! 👍

Thanks, Shane. I didn't realise there were so many of us , and yes, we are 🤣
@@SedEdwards ive got a springer the BSA lightning GRT in 177c.....its great im very impressed with it fp.
@barnowl07 I used to have one, I had a lot of trouble in the beginning with it.
I used to love it. It was my garden gun.
Hi sed I have 2 left handed tx200's 1 in 177 the others a 22 in my opinion the best under lever springer you can get 👍

@@SedEdwards I have a mk1 and mk2 tx in .22, I prefer the short Stoke of the older models, also prefer not having an anti bear trap on the mk1
@cardiffpicker1 I didn't know the mk 1 didn't have a anti bear trap.
I thunk I would like a 22 in the future
@SedEdwards think it was the first 3000 ish didn't have it, only real difference between mk1 and mk2 is the anti bear trap
@@cardiffpicker1 I took the anti bear trap out of my 97k so I could decock it.
Brother in law had tx so saved me the money. My 97 is shooting 10.5. Could do with a washer.
Great video loved it, pisser but also bang on 👍🏻😂😂😂
Nice one butty. It's all about having a crack. 😅🤣
Cannot get on with tx. I shoot r/h but load left. Don’t like port and that duff catch.
I love my 97s I would like a TX i just couldn’t part with £800+ for a gun that’s just a bit nicer to look at
