pretty good for a demo! This fangame seems promising, though, being forced to do Pacifist feels kind of a bad choice (if Boogie's going to kill us if we kill even a random encounter). I do get that the timeline was reset because of the geno routes Frisk did before, but having the choice to make them do it again and not change at all would make for an interesting path, as we can clearly see Frisk can show emotion in the Fight Route of the Papyrus encounter. It'd also open the door for a cool final boss, where instead of Chara, it could be Boogie. Though, if you don't want to change that, it's fine!
There is already a planned genocide route also, the requirements will be a bit different then original Undertale though. I don't plan to only make this a pacifist game!
Like what? Snowgrave? I can't see how we would be able to not make boogie notice our kills, so maybe making them not only interesting to watch, but also not making us strong, so we would only be causing chaos for no reason

I'd say since it's demo 1 it is a 3 or 4/5 (4/10 if it was a full product) which is not bad for a demo but when the full product comes out hopefully it will rate higher than a 5-7/10 at least!
I suggest moving the Defending to the mercy button and having ACTS that use TP go to a SKILLS section in the ACT menu or a SKILLS button so that you have more room to have a list of actions and skills too! This way you can have at most 4 Actions and 4 Skills show up in each section of the act menu/acts and skills buttons depending on your choice of menu layouts
Overall though its interesting to see some things from Deltarune and Inverted fate mixed in with story shift for the fighting system
Thanks for your feedback! I'll keep that in mind going forward! Honestly it probably is better to make a skill button as the 5th button instead of the defend button, since you'll be unlocking other Metta abilities throughout the game. It'll be a great place to put all of those!

Is this supposed to be a storyshift take? If so, its amazing. Deserves way more attention. Would use the donate money button if it was available for smaller youtubers. Great work. My one critisism would be that the grammar isnt the best, but hey, that doesnt really matter. Really hope this doesnt get cancelled because of how good it is

Oh forgot to answer the question! This is supposed to be an au sequel to Storyshift!
The visuals are AMAZING!!! The attacks on Papyrus are very cool and creative, and the concept is just awesome. The big problem I have is mostly the dialogue. The dialogue feels very blunt and dry and during the Papyrus fight it gets repetitive. “Let me leave.” “No.” For like 4 turns. I’d recommend maybe getting another writer for dialogue help.
Aside from that, this project is looking pretty cool!
Also, don’t pressure yourself. Take your time with this game, don’t try to push stuff out to fast because you feel like you need to stay relevant. Great things take time!

The frisk portait feeling like a stardew valley portait weirds me out could you chage it later?
Every other portait is good i just dont like frisks that much

We took a lot of inspiration from Inverted fate!
But with bad dialogues (in sorry) thats story just so strange sometimes...
I love the sprite portraits but some doesn't have the sad portraits so in sad moments its looks dumb. This game is cool, but there some things that need to have some work.
Really cool! But why is that sofa on a diferent perspective from the rest of the room...
Oh, and I think this will be fixed in other updates, but take snith to another area, he kinda just destroy the creepy mood Napstablook and Chara make
