I'm glad Kai was completed with the Final Chapters and given a more accurate dub. It just sucks the production and disruption was so lazily done. I really can't even consider them as the same product as Kai 1.0
Agreed! I wish they finished kai with it’s original run. I mean it’s crazy that it was finished years later and looks bad. Kai?! An official arc of dragon ball z got terrible treatment. That green tint is garbage

oh my god, i get a heart attack when i see the price of the entire "dragon ball z kai blu ray season 1 to 8" on ebay is for "2000$ dollars" 🥶🥶🥶🥶, i never gonna have the chance to buying "dragon ball z kai complete blu ray series" or "dragon boxes", both are super expensive, i hate when people sell anime & video games for more than "1000$ dollars"
Well it isn't the sellers fault lol. It's supply and demand. When they aren't being made any more and everyone wants them the price goes up and will continue to climb as long as people want them. But save your money and eventually u can afford them!
Blame Funimation for the dragon boxes issue. Dragon boxes were limited and hard to find in stores. Of course scalpers are going to charge a arm and a leg for them.

I’m just excited to get my yamamoto score dragon ball z kai from 2011 dvd in the mail didn’t know there were two versions a little while ago and have been planning on getting the Yamamoto score and it has finally started first part will be here soon😁

Yea but not all 8 parts.
I think the first four season sets of Dragon Ball Z Kai have the Shunuke Kikuchi's background soundtracks while the all eight parts of Dragon Ball Z Kai have Kenji Yamamoto's background soundtracks.
Nope. The seasons all have kikucui. But only the first four parts have Yamamoto score. Parts 5-8 have kikuchi
I know, but I'm talking about the season sets of Dragon Ball Z Kai not the parts.
@@SSJ491 yea the seasons have kikuchi. But there is a version of season 1 Blu-ray and DVD with Yamamoto. But I can't confirm that myself
@@RadarForce you must be talking about season 1 of Kai being originally released back in 2011 on dvd well those 26 episodes had Yamamoto’s music but it was quickly recalled back also parts 1-4 that have Yamamoto’s music are actually seasons 1&2 but your be shocked when I say fans took to the internet and released episodes 53-98 with Yamamoto’s music

Can you double check to see if the score is indeed Yamamoto? Supposedly, some printings (only for the Blu Ray) credit him but the actual discs themselves have Kikuchi when played. Thanks.

I’m not sure if you’ll see this comment, but I had a question regarding the Blu-Ray sets. On my copies, the white spines on Parts 1-6 and 8 have a holographic Toei logo at the bottom, but Part 7 does not. Does this indicate that it is not authentic or is it a strange production oversight that is present on your copies too? The rest of the box, case, and disc appear identical to the rest of the set so I am unsure.
Btw thanks for all the videos you put out it has really helped me build my own collection!
Yea that's legit copy! I had no idea, nice catch. But yea mine doesnt have holo either. But I haven't seen anyone faking the blurays

Does your blu ray DBZ Kai part 4 have the Kikuchi score pleasure people are saying that the part 4 blu rays that have Yamamoto music are hard to find
My part four Is Yamamoto. I have heard that there is a Part 4 with kikuchi. Tho I have not confirmed

Hey i like kai as much as i love DBZ and all but why do people hate Colleen Clinkenbeard's performance as Gohan im not a big fan of the voice either but why exactly
Because it sounds exactly like Luffy from one piece and it's annoying and also sounds literally nothing like Gohan from the original like she didn't even try to have some respect for the voice and try to mimick it lol

@@RadarForce It a good thing she didn't try and force herself to sound like a previous actor. Remember Funimation got flak for that when they first started dubbing in house. I actually like the new voice. To me it's almost as dumb to me as people complaining about Goku's adult voice in Japanese.
@@spartanq7781 well the thing that bothers me is all these voice actors seem to only have their one voice. When 20 years ago most voice actors or actresses could do like 20 different types of voices. Funimations crew seems to just use their god given voice lol. Just think of Chris sabat all his characters basically sound the same. On db and other shows.. like there's 20 different Vegeta's in all these shows. Hire more people or learn to do more voices. Also not saying it's easy because I can't do it but I'm just saying it's their job lol
