I don't know about you guys, but I'm levelling a Havoc Belf DH, and I'm fucking loving it...cough @ Grumpy cough... Minor observation though, DH's are better when dealing with mobs than individual targets or bosses.
I have to say I do like Vengeance a whole lot more than Havoc, but both specs are pretty fun if you can learn how to play them correctly.

+John Werner I think in the US the drinking age is 21 in most states while alot of european countries have it at 18 for strong drinks and 16 for soft alcohol like beer or wine.
I'm still waiting for Blizzard to explain what price is there for Illidan to pay, he already sacrificed everything.

He sacrificed nothing, in his entire life he was more than willing to sacrifice others but his own hide. He willingly absorbed the Scull of Gul'dan , he was overjoyed to sell his sould for more power it's not like he did something selfless...

No but he is just salty that the expansion is focused on "edgy" and dark characters like Illidan and Sylvanas, instead of some basic orc/human warrior that's boring as shit.
This expansion should be focused on those who has lore connection to the Legion, Malfurion , Tyrande, Maiev, Jarod ( sadly even Illidan), Velen with his brother and Khadgar, people forget taht Khadgar is one of teh few who has a weird relation with Sargeras/ Medivh in the novel it was clear that through the story the one Khadgar was talking too was Sargeras and it also shows that Sargeras shows for some reason a soft spot for Khadgar unlike the Counsil of Tirisfal memebers that he butchers. He talks to him in the final confrontation, he evens opens to him and speaks to him like his rascal student not like an enemy, an interaction between them in Legion will be awesome.

I wonder who is more dark, brooding, emotionless, and mentally/emotionally damaged. Death Knights, or Demon Hunters. Death Knights are probably the winner in all those departments, they had zero choice in their transformation while Demon Hunters had one. Plus while Demon Hunters lost everything, Death Knights fell fighting for what they had, and to avenge what they lost only to be turned into what they fought and even forced to kill a person who was important too them in some way.
Both become what they hate, but demon hunters have to relive that moment constantly, forever, the dks get to atone and find peace in silence, while the demon hunters have a voice in their ear for the rest of their existence.
No... DK can see ghost or voice of deceased but they deal with it. They are also haunted.

Demon hunters,by far. Death knights don't even compare when it comes to being an edgy teenager. All demon hunters do is bitch and moan about their sacrifices while drawing illidan fanart. Death knights are mostly just cold and kinda angry.
Death Knights win, but Demon Hunters pretend that they're far worse off. Crying all the time about how they sacrificed everything and how being 13 years old is hard

Tyrande and Malfurion are two of the classic Warcraft 3 heroes and Illidan in Legion is a lore abomination, a total whitewash of every previous novel, game and in game lore. Sacrificing them for Illidan will only complete Blizzards lore failure...

I had to like this video, Illidan is easily my favorite lore character in all of WoW, lich king Arthas is second only because Illidan was around for easily 11,000 years longer than Arthas was.

Hahaha Sylvanas is simply a selfish bitch and apart from that i have nothing against her, but Illidan's story has been white washed from novels, from Warcraft 3 and in game WoW so we can see heim as a ( Elune save us) misunderstood hero. Maybe im a bit salty about that but exactly because i likked Illidan in Warcraft 3 seeing his story messed up so much it annoys me.

After hearing all this info about Illidan, everything he's done and what he did it for, I realize that Illidan is very similar to Wrathion. Both are "willing to do anything do save Azeroth." But I would say that Illidan is WAY better at it. I mean, Wrathion almost caused the invasion of the Iron Horde into Azeroth. On the other hand, because of what Wrathion did, he actually caused the Burning Legion's current invasion instead of preventing it. If Wrathion hadn't interfered with the alternate Draenor, than their version of Gul'dan would never have come to Azeroth on our side and opened the portal in the Tomb of Sargeras. In other words, Wrathion screwed up, he screwed up bad.

I think you might be off on #1. Book says that they take their eyes when they see as demons see, eventually laying eyes on Sargaras

really disliking how inconsistent blizz is with their numbers and the blood elves. after wc3 90% of them were supposed to be taken out. then of the 10% that were left went to outland and serve Illidan. then those guys broke off into 3 seperate factions (horde, sunreavers, and kael's guys). then not mentioning how many were lost to arthas in northrend, how many were lost after the cataclysm. pandaria may have been the first breather they got before garrosh and his dickery. not to mention those who couldnt handle being mana starved. just so damned inconsistent >

Can we blame Illidan for what he has done? Yes, we can:
-For starters, Illidan never even bothered telling his plans to the rest of Azeroth, even if Malfurion is a dick and would refuse Illidan's call for help, there is MANY others who would've helped.
-Illidan was fucking mad and was also hallucinating in Burning Crusade, to the point where he thought he had defeated Arthas in the Frozen Throne.
-He is a TERRIBLE leader, if he had a little more charisma maybe Akama, Vashj or Kael wouldn't have betrayed him.
-His "sacrifice everything to save the world!" mentality is contradictory, if we're going to throw everything to stop the Legion then what's left to defend? It doesn't make much sense.

Glob i mean most of the lore and fighting was done by the elves, azsharas treachery created the 1st cataclysm, and now her city is a raid, so yes it makes sense that they would be at the center of it.

Illidan and the light actually makes sense because the light serves those who believe in the justice of their own cause. Of course by that reasoning the light might just as easily be called upon by Sargeras XD
Funny how Blizz just crapped on this Illidan story between him and the Naruu by making him kill Xeera. Then they make Turalyon and Aleria the light/void power couple.

What Illidan movie?
Warcraft isn't my favourite game (I play it and I like it, but...), but Illidan's story is most intriguing of all game character's stories, and most powerful. And as character, he's very likable.
So. Would you become a Death Knight or a Demon Hunter?
I think I'd go for DK. I couldn't gouge out my own eyes. I'd just get popcorn and wait for Illidan to sigh and give up.

I admit that im an Illian’s fanboy, but for good reasons. Many talked shit about Ilidan but do they know his story and understand what he went through. He was the first one to went through all of this without any help. Like how the hell did he come up with the idea that eating a demon would turn him into one, that is entrepreneurship right there. Got framed, hunted and shunned by his lover, brother (whom fuked his lover), and everyone else for being crude, sacrificed everything for his grand plan, got cock-blocked by the “heroes”, and still sane enough to save the world eventually. I just wish that Tyrande has a long lost twin for him to fuk.
Illidan was basically about as good guy as Garrosh was. He was literally enslaving people to do his bidding and even long before that he was murdering his own men in his lust for power. Saying "I did it to stop the legion" doesn't make it ok thing to do. Garrosh had ultimately noble goals too. Garrosh wanted the horde to live in prosperity rather than in huts of durotar. Neither one of them were good,goals don't always justify the means. Both of them are fucking evil. Sure Illidan is not doing evil shit right now but that doesn't change the fact that this guys is fucked up.
To clarify some details:
- Illidan did in fact die but the legion kindapped his body and ressed him for the purspose of endlessly torturing him for betraying Kil'Jaden
-We havent seen the voidlords yet (some people were chatting bullshit about them), but if they are badass enough to make Saragas himself piss his pants then they must be some next gen shit in terms of power.
- Demon hunters dont need eyeballs to see as they can instead see magical energies around them.
I don't know if this comment will get seen or not but I'd love to see lore on the demon hunters themselves. Where they might of been born, what types of demons they might of consumed and the effects those demons would impart. As a Roleplayer one thing I despise is making a character that's a Mary Sue or not close enough because I don't have any lore to go on.

I’m honestly disappointed with the starting zone, rather than escaping I wish that we could have gone through the process. Fighting demons, seeing the visions. Thats my opinion at least...
The demon hunters and illidan keep the legion from invading azaroth ... And the heroes of azaroth attack them so the world will be at peace and Saldy its the opposite😏 the heroes of azaroth are the reason why the legion return 😂
