Watching this again as it was a year ago since we went here for my 60th. Absolutely would stay here again - we were in an east lodge and the room was better than the one we got in New York!... although the altitude got me, and I was not keen on a lot of the food anywhere. (Im a sad Brit!) However - the fresh fruit and yummy drinks and ices got me through, and I would be back there in a heartbeat.
All the staff here or in the village are amazing and so friendly. Our Room was super quiet - apart from families some mornings. Love seeing Elk just wandering about - and not a creepy crawlie in sight!
I do hope to return again one day and maybe catch a sunset next time. I was in bed most nights by 8pm - completely wiped out (Must be my age!!!)

Be so careful. Lots of animals roaming the roads. Just drive slowly through the park.

Nothing on Havasu area or anything West of the park (outside park boundary).

Hey, how did you get to the trail ? Is it walking distance ? Did you drive your car to the south rim?

National Parks do not have wifi
I booked this lodge for April. Where is the rock you are standing on when taking the canyon pics? Would like to take one there as well.
There a ton of photo opportunities. That photo was taken near the Grand Canyon Village. Have a wonderful time, the Grand Canyon is so incredible & will take you breath away!
Is it walking distance to th canyon
It would be a good walk we used bikes to get around as I recall there are buses that can get you from different locations on the rim.

Walking distance like less than 5 minutes to general store- it shares the same parking lot as the hotel. There are not many Restaurants inside the park I would suggest making reservations ahead of time.

No we just stayed at this hotel.
