I've never had a full bag dedicated primarily for simple lock outs. I typically bring my pick set, and maybe an under the door tool to my commercial accounts. I have a small tool bag which I fill with the tools necessary for the job if the need should arise. I guess I just find it easier than lugging all those tools around.
I’m 55, and I started 6 years ago. Start small, learning on your own”own stuff” if you hate it, no big deal. If it turns out you enjoy it you can set out to learn other aspects of the business, and you haven’t turned any former friends into enemies by messing up their locks.
From my experience locksmithing WD40 and graphite are two things I avoid when working on locks, they leave shit inside the locks (especially graphite that shit is disgusting inside of locks). In Australia we have a product called Inox, I use mx-3 for the internals for locks in the keyway, and latches. Anything more heavy duty I use the mx-5.

WD stands for Water Displacement, great for working on rusty things or temporarily moving junk around inside a lock, but not as a solution to lack of lubrication. Graphite…..don’t get me started. Graphite is only for extremely arid areas, if there is ANY moisture content in the air all you’re doing is gumming the lock up if you’re using graphite……

Just call your local Automotive Locksmith and they will be able to make a key. Note: Ford Dealers no longer have the key codes on file for any Ford over 10 years old.
I have a simple bag that gets me in almost everywhere. I have a bag for skyscraper rekeys and a bag for drilling and such. A bit different. I just added the leishi decoders for residential and they save me when picking and bumping are taking too long. A little suprised you don't have those in your bag! But you are much more experienced than I am for sure so you probably don't need them. They certainly come in handy for me though.
That's funny... My kit has almost all of those exact things, maybe fewer screwdrivers and Pry bars, and I thought I carried too much 😆. In addition to what you showed, I also carry a 1/2" wide chisel, strike locator, hinge adjustment tool, better resetter tool for smartkey/secure key locks (much easier to carry than the reset cradle) and a medicine bottle full of misc deadbolt/knob/latch screws. Also, pm me and I'll show you the best tool I've made for removing c clips from Schlage F series and similar cylinders. Thanks For the great Video!

I do a lot of general maintenance things for my employer, including locks. (A lot of things I do aren't even remotely related to my job description.) We are seasonal with some year round stuff. This means doing a lot of lock swaps (swap in our locks when moving in and put back the original locks when moving out). I'm getting pretty good at figuring out all sorts of doors. The bane of existence is damaged threads on mortise cylinders. Some people do really sloppy installs. I would be interested in your kit for doing commercial lock swap/install. I'm also starting to do rekeys. Mostly doing basic Schlage, but Primus is on my target list. Which brings up another question, do you sell tools? I'm having a terrible time finding basic stuff like key gauges, the kwikset tool, etc. at reasonable prices.
Of all the items in your EDC bag you have picued my interest the most with the DuhWalt box of rekeying tools. That is my next set to put together. Thanks for sharing your time with us that are learning.
Most companies are willing to train. Depending on the accounts of a particular company, all we usually require is a clean background, and general knowledge of tools. Everything else can be trained and your skills can be honed with lots of practice.

In another comment, somebody mentioned Bosnian Bill. I've watched him and Lockpicking Lawyer. I much prefer Lockpicking Lawyer. He doesn't have a long intro or outro and gets right to the point. He will do longer videos when demonstrating a concept, but usually his videos are under five minutes. Bosnian Bill's videos have a long intro and tend to be somewhat rambling, so I didn't watch them nearly as often.
Grinding out a strike is a hack fix. The issue is nearly always the hinges. You grind the strike and they’ll be calling you back in a year mad they paid you to band aid the problem. If you’re gonna cheat the reveal issue, get a hinge doctor set or just call a carpenter to shim or replace the hinges. I see ground strikes and I know a lazy locksmith has been there before me.

It's s knob removal tool/ wrench for loosening / tightening roses on Schlage (and other) locks

Have you tried WD PTFE? I've been using it a while, not too bad.

Shim the hinges yourself .
