I am a 70 year old woman who has been a lifelong football fan. I just have to say that I love everything about this young man. He is the real deal on all levels… quarterback, husband, father and friend. I can’t wait for the season to start because he brings joy to my heart. He is a treasure! I've said this before, but it rings so true still
Living through Grbac, Gannon, Smith. Not tasting even the AFC championship since Montana... It's been long and its been rough. I feel so blessed to be enjoying this now. I'm 39 and been rooting for the kingdom since I was 7. Every year I would say "Chiefs are going to the Superbowl!" I would hope against hope every game. Down by 14 with a minute and a half left?No biggie! We'll score and onside recover real quick and go tie it right up. So much hope and faith I had.
It still seems so surreal to be experiencing this era. All those childlike hopes made into reality. 32 years. 32 years have I waited. Let downs, false hopes, straight up embarrassments. All for this!
      How bout those CHIEEEEEEEFS!?!

First off, great interview by Nate. The underlying message is that while you need talent to be great, the defining characteristic is a dedication to doing the hard work. That is truly inspiring, even to a fan. "I just need to get 1% better every day." That is something we can all aspire to and achieve.

I'd love to see the season from a rookie QB's/potential breakout starter's perspective- maybe Bryce Young or Desmond Ridder. Would still love to see that star QB perspective such as Joe Burrow, Josh Allen, or Jalen Hurts. Finish off with the "Kirk Cousins" type such as Geno Smith or Derek Carr. We could follow the same cast as last year, but it'd be interesting to get different guys every year- like a QB1 type of show.

The small ways that Nate revealed his own life experiences created a beautiful bond between he and Patrick. Equally, Patrick's thoughtful answers and references to his own life revealed much about how he lives and what his life goals and expectations for his own performance are, both in football and daily experience. The guy is all around awesome. Enjoy watching him play all season and the relationship he has with Coach Reid is so special. Was also glad that Netflix included him in the docuseries Quarterback!
Mahomes and Co. continue to work your magic on the field❤️

I feel so lucky to be a chiefs fan now after so many years of what if’s and falling short. Patrick and Steph Curry are my two favorites they are both so humble and grounded. I’m truly living the dream as a fan of both.

What a great person Patrick Mahomes is. Very gifted, well-rounded, humble and genuine. His parents raised him well. Great young man!

Although Patrick Mahomes is the most talented qb in the NFL, he is also the hardest working, and the most grounded qb in the league. Very humble, very focused, he is just so much fun to watch.

Really like Patrick. Wish him a good, healthy season, even though I'm a fan of Cinci! See you all on the field.
PS: Like that he's such a family man who has a beautiful wife and two kids that he's definitely into. This QB has the right stuff in every way.

So much respect the player, but more importantly the person that PAt is. Seeing him in the docuseries, yelling at Coach Reid for not letting him go back into the game towards the end of the SECOND QUARTER. Showed his competitive fire, but also how he wanted to be there for his teammates, even though x-rays came back negative and he played the second half, knowing how painful it would be, but still finding a way to get the job done.

Huge fan of another team, but I love this guy. He's sooooo good, and humble. His cockiness on the field is deserved, but he's also respectful to other players. I hope he retires before he's all broken.

He’s such a nice guy, loving husband and father and religious which is great for someone who kids want to be like. I don’t think he’s going to let the money and fame change him or let his kids be totally spoiled because he comes from a good family growing up and is still close to and respectful of his parents. The Chiefs are my favorite team and I get teased because I don’t want anyone talking constantly while I’m watching my game! The people who make mean comments about him are just jealous of everything he’s done!

Patrick is a truly remarkable young man. My fear is that with his ankle being vulnerable, opposing players will target that part of his body next season. I realy hope, as a KC fan, that he leads this team until he is ready to retire healthy.
