Queens, NYC here… C’mon, I’m not trolling but I almost think you are with this video. Barney’s is a classic with their smoked fish. True Bourdain loved it for breakfast. That Pastrami is a commercial product 100%. What do I mean by commercial? It’s a mass produced, factory made product. Looks to be Boar’s Head or some other major brand. This is the quality of Pastrami you find all over the Midwest and American South. Best in NYC? Got to be a joke man.
You gotta be kidding! Saying that Barney Greenglass' has the best or almost the best pastrami sandwich in NYC is beyond absurd.. I'm a Brooklynite, but living in Maine. Maine has no jewish deli. One or two may call themselves that, but they're not. As a matter of fact though,, their pastrami sandwiches look like what you're touting. I've just now found your TH-cam channel and am excited that your future episodes will get me salivating. This time, no!
I can understand your loyalty to Barney Greegrass, since you've been enjoying their foods ever since you were a kid. Their menu is big, and most of their offerings are top notch. But to infer that their pastrami is better than Katz's or Second Avenue's is ludicrous. Don't do things like this, if you value your credibility! From the looks of your sandwich, I can say that we can get better pastrami down here in Philly.
I was there once in 2010 and of course got bourdains omelette.
Great food review, makes me hungry.
Thank you 😋
When you’re hungry it means you’re healthy

@@ryangies4798 it’s actually not . It’s made for them by a small kosher company in Brooklyn. People think it’s Boars Head or Hansel and Gretel .
@@pvp66 Bull! 30+ years in the NYC restaurant biz. I know mass produced when I see it.

The video's sound is only coming out of the left speaker which is distracting.
I will fix it
I’m gonna continue asking for mofongo 😊
😂
Love mofongo. You have a higher chance of finding it in the Bronx
Good but not better than Katz. Stick with the Fish.
Try it . You’d be surprised
@@pvp66It’s better than Katz. I’m a former upper west sider. It’s better.

Try it , others places have lost their touch. Things change.
Why are you so aggressive?
Didn't mean to ruffle your feathers, but Pastrami sandwiches are serious foods!@@ramencurry6672
they don't do enough volume
their menu is too diverse, and their not always fresh
@@crankyinvestor my experience was different.
Not cut quite thick enough.
It looks good

Thank you for your opinion
So you never tasted the sandwich and you're taking umbrage with his opinion?
This is a true statement and I'm glad you let him know the truth
Whoa! You sound outraged.
Typical food vlogger hype, that's all.
