I am probably telling you something you already know. I watched Glitz and glitter a few times where she has used a new resin and it allows you to be able to pipe the resin. She has done a few cupcake moulds and it pipes really good.
I’ve seen Michelle from Glitz nGlitter make cupcakes from the resin that pipes. It’s amazing stuff. She is actually a baker so her piping skills are great. Your cupcakes are very cute also. Now we have another source to make faux icing. Thanks Steve.
Ahhhhh.....thanks for advising about the acrylic paint with the silicone, that explains why my mixture was setting so fast. I have the silicone cupcake liners too and use them to mix up small mixtures, hold clips and things, in the car cup holder, etc. Great cupcakes!
These are so cute, could make removable silicone candles to also use as a pen holder? My brain explodes when i watch your videos and i want to get stuck in 😊 Thanks.
If you are using 100% silicone, you can use oil paints to color it. Small amounts. If you over do it tho, it can inhibit the cure. I actually thinned clear tube silicone down with d -limonene and colored with oil paints to a pouring consistency. It was a cool rubber paint pour goo lol. I'm not sure if it ever set up totally, but it was fun just to see what would happen lol.
Love these, you could add a photo clip to them and turn them into sweet photo holders!!

These are just plain fun! And piping is just practise.

Culture Hustle sells powdered paints/pigments and is based in the UK.
That’s a brilliant idea. I wonder if mica powder can be used to colour the icing.
Can't wait to try this

I just love these Steve!
I love it
do you think if you made the resin create thicker it could have been the icing so the top would be hard
mmmm! Looks good enough to eat!😋👍☺️
Totally brilliant ❤❤❤
Wow!! Very cool!
Fab project Steve 😊😊
They look fantastic.
Hi Steve, Baker Ross on Amazon UK are selling a set of powder paints.x
I started using lightweight spackle and it works exactly like real icing. Bonus is it doesn't smell.
Oh lovely now I want cupcakes and I’ve got none. Lol

How about a yellow with like a blue marble? Another idea would be peanut buttercups...
❤😃👍🏻
I noticed that you switched brands of resin....why....is this resin now better than the J brand????
