Yoooooooo. I left the concrete game! Just as I was loving it and getting plenty OT. Something better came along with the money and benefits I need for my family. Much respect and love for the concrete life tho. Great experience
@@readymixmoe6088 oh man that answer went over my head...i never thought about that untill you said so lol i was super curious because the rear discharge mixers keep the booster up when empty and the front end mixers do not, glad to know i can finally have that out of my head

Loving your vids man...why don’t you post anymore? You stop running a mixer?
as a concrete pouring employee... why is it that the rear booster axle needs to be down even if the truck is empty?
Cause they swing out when you turn. You can hit something and not know.

✅✅✅✅💯💯💯💯
We only run rear loaders here. That’s kind of cool. Never seen the inside of a front loader
Thanks for the video, in what circumstances do you lower the pusher axle down?
Anytime you have above 6 (or maybe 8) yards on, it’s to keep the truck’s axles under a legal weight
also on cell tower jobs, where rear dumps would lose the load
Thanks bro. Appreciate. Is it the same when the shute in the back of the truck?.... Also u ever driven a manual dump truck?
I drove a manual when I first started but my company went all automatic.
Explain the slump and water to mix ratio
1 gallon per yard to increase slump 1 inch. So if you have 10 yards at a 4 inch slump you would add 10 gallons to get to a 5 inch slump and so on.
Make sure it doesn't have super or mid range because then it will not reload much water
Oh man lol you shore give tou age away there but it good to no you had a game life. Readymix meo.
How heavy are the chute extensions?
No more than about 15-20 pounds.
If the company likes you they buy aluminum chutes
Depends on the mix to, especially if it got slag in it.
Hey is it easy?
It can be
front dumps are better in long cituations
Someone doesn't keep their truck clean.
Actually the truck is old lol I mean olddddddddd.
