I’ve been subbed to Ryan for years now. Since like 1k subs. Great man. Used to stay in touch with him on Insta too
Who knew delivering concrete was just a side hustle, the real job is keeping the truck clean. Can appreciate a man that takes pride in his equipment. Love the video, cant wait to see what else is to come.
I've been driving a cement truck now for 2mths ..at first I wasn't sure if it was for me ..but I love it now
This guy knows what he's doing and talking about. Clean truck says it all. I clean on my truck everyday. I have the cleanest truck and haul the most yardage. And that gets noticed not only by our management but our customers. Nice work man.

I knew I wouldn't be the only Victory fan here 😂
Been a fan since day one that’s who got me into making videos😂
Great job great vid
I delivered concrete for 28 years seen it all
Cheers from Nova Scotia
This is great very educational i've been a driver for 7 years and this explains alot
Much respect on keeping that truck so clean
Yep, did this for 35 yrs. It was a lot harder back in the day! There was no night time work until the early 90's! Lol
I honestly cant thank you guys enough for everything yall do.. as a homebuilder our job wouldnt be possible without yall! Rock on!
Guys always forget to lock their shoot and not just the button, but the actual lever that goes into the slot and then there’s a lot of guys that won’t use the chain for the flop over and I’ve seen those flip over when they hit a bump hard enough. Also three points of contact when you get out of truck been there done that gotten out of a truck and fallen because I didn’t have much of a grip on anything when you get out of Truck towards you’re likely to do the whole slip, trip and fall.
But yeah, that was a good video .
I just came across this channel because I want to learn a little bit before I start my new job as a ready mix truck driver. I’m impressed with the job on how easy it is. The best part is that I get to go home every day to my family. 👍💯
Easy money just get to know your truck and how to adjust your concrete and you’ll be good
I'm going through a career change and starting my new job as a ready mix driver in a few days. Did you start working yet @king69king1? If so, how you liking it so far?
Im in the same situation how do you like it so far? @@rgzulim75
Great job!! Keep the videos coming and I’ll keep watching.
Definitely take pride in your work and truck.
I like how you keep a clean truck. I started driving mixer truck about a year ago and I'm enjoying it. We don't carry the wash out buckets, so that was pretty cool to see.
Easy money 👌🏽 good content
Keep pushing videos, and don't give up. TH-cam wants you and needs you, but you need to be consistent with updates. You will make it !!!
Thank you! I’ll get back to uploading I just hit a speed bump and it will all be explained in the new video !
@@Mixermafia23 👍👊💥
Im thankful for the truck shower we have in our plant. Just slow down for 100ft and your clean.
Nice video my guy.! I’ve been driving for almost 10 years total. Did 6 months mixer driver and I’m looking to go back at the beginning of the year I miss it honestly.!
I love driving a mixer sometimes doesn’t even feel like work
Good job. Thxs for sharing. Keep doing it. It'll get better ❤❤❤❤
You missed a few spots , washing down your truck ..... lol (kidding...). 👌👍👍👍 Interesting to see the other side of other folks JOBS !!!
Thanks for the shout out!👊🏽😎💯🙏🏼
Happy to find this channel, Hope you keep it up. Victory Outdoor Services, make me love concrete!
Thank you! Concretes here!!!!!!😂
That's a nice new truck. You're up in the LA area I'm guessing? I'm going on 35 years. We do "scrape and go" and charge the customer if no place to clean out.
This is really cool keep up the great work
Love your videos
Cool video man! Same cab as our garbage trucks cool to see different variations made with same cab & chassis.. I see you guys got Lytx DriveCams as well… looking forward to more videos brother! Liked and subscribed
Thank you for the support brotha I’ll get back to making more videos soon
Oooo, this is fun, will watch!
Thank you!
Nice! Keep em coming!
Great vid man!
Been doing truck driving here in Hawaii for almost 18 years not a concrete truck driver but a super dump truck driver we haul materials like rocks, sand, different types of gravels. Anyways im planning moving somewhere up in the states and try driving concrete trucks any pointers where is a good start. Btw awesome video bro 🤙🏽
Look for a company that has a lot of old drivers you will move up faster. Asking over the phone might be easier than when there at interview.
Please do a lot more videos like this
More sky less ground. Nice content...good job!
Thanks brotha appreciate it !
Sac born and raised here. Glad to see it.
Yes sir! Thank you for the support
Shout out from northern cali. I pump a lot of material from your Chico yard 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Small world brotha thanks for the support!!
Really small world lol I’ve pumped mud from your Chico, Yuba City, and grass valley yards. Never pumped mud from your Sacramento plant
Nice video, man. Keep it up. Subbed. However, I don't understand how a construction site can NOT have a clean-out area. I pull reefers for a living and if a shipper/receiver doesn't have a receptacle for me to clean out my trailer, that shit goes in the parkinglot.
I drove a septic truck, and a schoolbus for 2 years, i singe have got into construction and i miss driving
I started out my trucking career on concrete mixers, I don't miss it, but your video took me back, its funny that you call yourself the Mixer Mafia, because I used to call myself the Minimix Mafia, haha, I deliver the best kind of concrete now, the kind thats already gone off, lol, anyway, good video, keep it up
😂😂😂 the mini mix mafia that’s perfect I would love to see that on a Christmas sweater thank you for the love I appreciate it!
How did you start out as a ready mix driver? I applied to this one place a week ago and haven't heard anything back yet. I have an unrestricted class a with tanker endorsement. Do I need hazmat as well?
unfortunately I can't help you because I am a UK driver, I don't know about american rules and regs, one thing you could do if you have no experience is offer to do a week without pay and if you can prove yourself as being capable and trustworthy to do the job make an agreement with the operator to take you on at the end of the first week, although, I don't know what operators are like over there and whether or not they would take advantage of you for free labour, approach with caution and good luck!@@user4667
i dont think my boss would be happy taking all that time to wash down when we where doing maybe 10 or 12 loads to a pour and the plant was waiting for lorries lol
RAIDER NATION BABY😎
You are doing good ❤❤❤❤❤ keep it up🎉 please❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you ! I will get back to uploading soon!
Can you do a video on the enviro bucket ? 😊

Noce si ya vistes mi contenido pero bueno esto es lindo hermano tienes un divino camión transportador de concreto excelente hermano que bueno un video tuyo explicando cuánto gana un operador de mixer en usa que concretos transportan comúnmente
I’d love to see how they get filled up
How do you keep your truck so prestine.. i gotta truck its kinda new not too dirty but the stuff that is caked aint easy to get off especially in the tight areas.. i got my some muratic acid but i dont wanna use it near lines.. have you just stayed kept up on it since you got it? Any tips
Hello is this wheel base at the end for the weight? We in Germany have 2 main type of Concrete Trucks a 3 axles truck can load 6 Cubic Meter and a 4 axles Truck can load 7.5 Cubic Meter. They also have a big Drum what is able to load up to 8 or 9 Cubic Meter but its not allowed anymore. The washdown system with the buket is awesome, we dont have this. Sry for my bad writing.
I’m in eastern KY in Appalachian Mountains, off road gets dangerous around here! Them trucks are definitely top heavy
Yes they are brotha I’ve been in some sketchy situations in this truck but we always get the load off safely of course 😅
Thanks for the reply over here in uk our concrete trucks come in 3 sizes ,in metric sizes ,4 wheel truck carry 4 cube ,6 wheeler similar to yours 6 cube and 8 wheeler 8 cubes ,I know you guys in us use yards so not sure about your weights
Yea we use yards max we can carry is 4 yards but I just looked some of those up and some other states have trucks similar to that here in California majority of the trucks look like this due to the weight of the truck and the weight the roads can hold over here and it’s California so there more picky 😂
@@Mixermafia23 I do this in Idaho and we carry 10 yards. Trucks are usually at around 70k lbs. we do a bunch of offroad jobs and it's really sketchy. are trucks get stuck a lot and if you know a mixer truck you know it's an entirely different beast. These trucks will flip over just by you looking at it wrong.
That was 7" slump if I have ever seen a slump and I have seen slumps.
i did this for about 3 months didn't really enjoy it keep up the good work
What didn't you like about it?
@@lilvato88able start and finish times never the same very early morning starts and also mandatory working on Saturdays
You should make a video on how to read slump. I’m having problems with that right now at work because my slump meter dosnt work
Never depend on your slump meter. Go by sound and look at your load!!
More entertaining than politics
I've always wondered what the 2 wheels in the back do?
this video was very entertaining and i loved watching it maybe change up the music a little but other than that i love this video, keep it going!
good video but stop in one place when unloading you were making me dizzy jumping around
Is that go pro your using ?☝️😎
😮😮😮😮
I'm starting out and training this week, my trainer just doesn't care and hasn't shown me half of this stuff.
Dang which area are you in? I'm suppose to start new month too I'm hoping I learn everything I need since it's 2 weeks of training
EASY MONEY 💰
Yes sir!
Good video, constructive criticism: some things could use explaining as to why you’re doing it. You’re speaking as if we’ve been doing this as long as you and know what everything means, but that’s not true. For example what the “boot” is at the beginning, or what the boost does or boost pressure. Keep up the good work
Will do Iam working on a video explains parts of the truck and the plant thank you !
How many yards does that truck hold? Been doing concrete now for about 5 years at 23 years old and haven’t seen a truck with that much space between your “barrel or drum” and cab ever. Just curious👌 much love and drive safe 🙏
These hold about 10.5 yards but they only load us with 10 but the space your talking about we did notice these trucks are longer than our mcnelius mixers those are a little shorter the one I drive is a contech when I first saw it I was wondering the same thing
How many loads do you usually have to deliver in in a day ?
Over here if drive on the roads your a target we got speed cameras everywhere and now some of our really nice driving roads have average speed cameras, our national speed limit for a roads is 60mph 70 for our motorways equivalent to your interstates it's a complete joke you get some idiot driving at 40 mph and you darnt overtake ,on our motorways most of em are 3 lanes you get jerks just sit in middle lane at 50mph it's not like us we not allowed to under take I've been to USA 5 times you lads are miles ahead of us in everyway think I might think about moving overthere 😅
😂😂😂 iknow exactly what your talking about deal with it almost everyday
Hi from the uk your trucks are different from ours ,what are the wheels that fold used for might be a dumb question but we don't have them in uk everything else is simular enjoyed your video
Not a dumb question at all brotha that’s called a booster axle we put those down when we get loaded with 5 or more yards to help the truck with the weight
Town full ov concrete mixers 🙂🙂🙂🙂
nice day but does your company have any front discharge trucks
No they don’t but I wish they did they look more fun to drive I saw them a couple of times when I went to Reno Nevada
I am in the Midwest [WI] and that's all we have, for the last 20-30 year
I'm mixser driver
Raaaaiiideeeers! Lol
Raaaaiiiderrrrsssss!!!! 😂thank u brotha for the comment !
A lot of more flow at the wash down station would be immensely helpful. That looks like 60 psi or so.
Trust me brotha we have been asking for more water pressure for the longest out other plants have stronger water pressure and wash down is a lot faster
You think he has control over that
@@Yaniv_Israel
Of course not. My comment was a statement of fact. Nothing more.
LOBILLOS MUSICAL DE DURANGO…
Why do you have to wash it down.? Thxs
For us that don't know the details of what you are talking about, can you explain more termanoldgely
Of course I will !
Hi
What is the hourly wage if you are only a driver?
And if the track is yours, how much is the hourly income?
The town im from has the motors in the back
Yea those are the front load mixers those seem cooler to drive
why are those wheals behind the truck ?
Hey bro can you please explain the different slumps and how you change it, how much water to add depending on what customers are asking for ?
Thanks
Yea bro I’ll make a short on it today stay tuned I’ll try to tag u on it it’s easier for me to say it than type it
Ok thanks

Your truck is automatic?
So do you have to do all that cleaning every time you load and unload?
I usually do just to keep the truck clean and keep it from getting buildup around the truck
For me as European I am wondering why having 2 meters of space from cab to mixer? Just unnecessary lenghtening the truck.
Daammmm where u at I work for them over here in cali they don’t have that
I work out of Sacramento bro here in cali I’ve gone down to LA to pick up some trucks up here we use these reclaimers idk why they don’t use them down there in LA
They look really handy I’m in fountain valley are u guys busy up there I been wanting to move overthere
@@sinfronterasblogs this year we’ve been a lot more busier alot of warehouses going up and alot of houses work has been pretty steady all year how is it down there ?
What time do you get home everyday
your company owned by CRH? That tablet app looks familiar
I don’t think so it’s a family owned company based out of Los Angeles
why drop the tag during loading it could pick the tandems off the ground if the pressure is set for a 10yd load
I stop them before they hit the ground we all load like that here to prevent the concrete from spilling all over the booster axle
Also you can have your pressure set low and it won’t lift the axles.
@@Mixermafia23 we never had room to do but as long as the boot was fully in and they didnt slam the cement and flash in,u would be ok.
Do you need your fill your water tank?
Yes always need to fill it when we get back from a job just in case we need to add water to the concrete on the job and also to wash down and clean up
How much y’all make a hour
How do you like those drivecams?
There alright I guess very sensitive with stop signs I’m so used to them being there I forget it’s there
Drivecams can be extremly annoying lol Hey @Mixermafia, so on average days work how many loads per day would you say? Starting a mixer job here soon
@@Mixermafia23.
You guys still have rear load trucks, oh no.
hold up!! only a 50 gallon water tank??? you guys are getting robbed. our trucks in KS hold 150 Gal.
Get that truck out gear..😅
Please start putting the Allison in neutral instead…bad habit leaving it in gear and using the safety neutral from the parking brake
Yea I got into the habit but I’m starting to put it in neutral now
@@Mixermafia23 that’s good, safety first!
You keep the same truck every day?
Yes we do soon as we are done with training we get our assigned trucks
If it's not a secret, how much can you earn in a month? Can you tell?
In the good months that’s march-September around 6k maybe a little more just depends how much overtime and prevailing wage jobs you get but once the winter months come it drops a lot
@@Mixermafia23 thanks for the answer🤝
Why not put water tank behind cab your trucks look silly.
Take it out of gear pendèjo
Out of gear?
@@Mixermafia23 You popped the parking brake without switching it to neutral. Normally on a maintained truck you're fine, but sometimes there is a failure in the solenoid that puts it partially in neutral. When you rev the truck up to spin the drum, it is possible for the truck to remain in gear and take off on you.
@@WhyNotChris0 we’ve had that happen slips my mind at times just because it’s never happend to me but I’ll make sure to watch it more often thanks brotha
