How active is the server on a regular basis, is it mostly nights and weekends? Are you able to build your own ships in creative and project them on the server? One of my favorite things is ship/base design on this game.
Server had anywhere from 30-70 players on depending on time of day and events and such. Most people design in creative and then print the ship on server.
Minor issue; the PDCs in the book are nothing like the ones in the show. Rather than being rotary canons they are single barreled tubes that fire Teflon coated slugs incredibly fast; they're only rotary canons in the show because that looks cooler. You can block the tube of a PDC with the palm of your hand they're so small in diameter.
@@alphamatte4259 The ones in the show are way cooler and you can actually distinguish them. So they're way better for a visual medium! I am a huge fan of the expanse. I was wondering of there is a way to use the weapons in singleplayer? Would like to hunt some tyranids with my stupidly designed ships that use Aryx's drives.
Im a bit curious since it seems kinda like the belter stuff is < core, are they limited to players on those factions and if so why would people play as belters if its basically guaranteed they go into all combat at a disadvantage? As a outsider it just kinda seems like: "Team Blue has better stuff than team Red" so how does that work?
So - on this server ALL players start as belters, and then like Ashford in the books and lore they have to salvage better weapons off of MCRN and UNN NPCs. No one can "start" the server as MCRN or UNN at all. Hope that makes sense.

For MCRN and UNN weapons you have to fight NPCs and take their weapons. If you have a railgun you can kite them at railgun range and snipe out their reactors while your PDCs shoot down their torps. After they have no power you move in and scrap their weapons.
