I know we are talking about a torso, but I haven't had a big baby or toddler yet. All I can add is that I'm thinking of getting a belly plate for my Joseph asleep. Just for pictures though.

I just received my joseph sculpt this past Friday and so far I’ve kept his belly plate on. I bought a 2 T adidas track suit from costco which fits fabulous and makes him snugglier. I agree about the clothes being only sized for this baby. As of now his majesty just arrived and i cant stop looking at him! best wishes ♥️

This fella is really Stunning! My humble opinion would be to leave it as it is as he is incredibly cute and since you hace a cuddle version of Joseph you can enjoy both factors! Much love!❤️
I have the Joseph sleeping and the Joseph Awake babies. I love them with their torsos because the awake version can sit up and pose nicely, and his sleeping brother poses also, maybe falling asleep while reading his book or in his booster chair while eating. They do need a bigger diaper to cover most of their butt. To me just being able to squish that bum is enough cuddle! xxx

He’s adorable but I think the torsos often look like a prop. I would remove as it’s not a necessary addition.

i dont know like he looks soooo adorable and chubby and looks really real with it on but he would be really good to hug and soft without and i really love chubby legs on babies too
Not a fan of torsos or belly plates. Anytime I got reborns with belly plates I have had it on for one picture when they arrive home then the belly plate gets stored away and not used lol. I like my babies cuddly
I’m the same way! Somehow I’m reluctant to remove it for some reason. I think I might end up selling him. It’s hard when he can’t share clothes with any of the other babies. xoxo

I'm working on the Journey by LLE and he has the longer torso. I'm going to leave it on him. I have 5 others that don't have one. They are cuddly without but I really want to leave it on him for something different.

I don't know what I would do ? I have two full vinyl kits love them both . I think I would take it off see how it would be and if I didn't like it put it back on then I would know👍
You could take it off and turn it in to two separate plates and then put holes in them so you can tie them on so you can have the cuddle factor but also have the gorgeous details

I have her now but no torso and yes she is cuddly!
I have a NB size doll with a full body torso and I keep going back and forth about removing it. It seems to make his clothes fit better in the waist area but it makes his shoulders too wide for some NB onesies. If I use 0-3 size then it is too long.
I do mine Is a boy and he is asleep I called him edddie
I like them on but I have a lot without. If I only hat one doll I would take it off,but I have lots of them. I have the Joseph asleep.
I'm hoping to get one soon, with the plate, I will take pics with the plate and then promptly remove it so I can cuddle him!!
How do you take it off like will you have to remove head and arms? If so it be nice to be able to remove with out doing that
I honestly am not a fan of torsos. I would take it out. He is so adorable I'm expecting a Joseph awake soon!

Hm I think since you have the cuddle baby version then maybe keep the torso on this one. Best of both worlds with the two babies, ya know?

My joesph asleep didn't come with a breast plate but I love her all the same am getting twins joesph awake made at the moment

I would hate the torso. He is cute, but I only use belly plates for photos. He is adorable, but the full body torso just makes him look like a doll, not a baby. Detracts from the realism for me. Just saying.
