  • In this video, we delve into the world of time attack racing with a factory-built Hyundai I30n, specially crafted for the challenge. Constructed by Hyundai Australia in 2019 to showcase the capability of the i30n platform at the prestigious World Time Attack Challenge, this car epitomizes speed and precision.
For those unfamiliar, time attack racing focuses solely on each racer's best lap time, making every moment on the track crucial. Despite its stock i30n fastback base with added safety features like a roll cage and enhanced aerodynamics, this Hyundai performance vehicle showed moderate results at the 2019 event. It was primarily designed for promotional purposes and wasn't poised to dominate its class.
However, the story takes an exciting turn at the end of 2022 during the Australia N festival when car enthusiast Daniel Truong approached Hyundai with an ambitious proposal. He sought to purchase the car with the goal of elevating it to a competitive level for the World Time Attack Challenge. After extensive negotiations, Daniel finally acquires the vehicle, marking the beginning of a thrilling journey.
Throughout this series, you will witness the dedication and passion poured into transforming this Hyundai I30n into a contender for the World Time Attack Challenge.
