I like the Zadorov signing. We got bigger on d and didn't have to resign gryz and forbort (with deepth for forbort too with likely injury). We have forwards who can chip in (similar to Heinen)
For me personally if your not going to give lysell the job, and honestly even merkulov should have a look, and I’m not saying they need to be line 2 but bare minimum have our 3rd line the young guns, lysell, merkulov, and potsy, have Freddy up on line 2, and run Beecher, brazeau, jones and kastellic as your 4th line, and you could always switch it up have potsy up on line 2, coyle down on line 3, bring Frederic back and bring lysell or merkulov back, itleast try it till the deadline if we need to add a top 6 winger at that point if so be it, but give the kids a chance, you need a mix of vets and youth, not hard to get a trade at the deadline if these guys aren’t looking how Boston envisioned then you can flip them and possibly add that missing winger they need
I think Joe was right, the B's don't to give Swayman both top $$ and term. Investing 8 years in a goalie that is really not proven, could too easily go sideways. A 4 year deal would make more sense. I think you can give about 6.5 . That's quite a bit for a young goalie and if he proves himself over the next 3-4 years he will deserve more on the next contract.
I can’t stand how the media has become just rubber stamps for the team and players. Those comparable Scott mentioned for Swayman are not comparables. Those guys all have more accomplished, and have had better years. They’ve also played more. Yet the entire media other than like Hags, Felger, and a few others, have already given Swayman 8 years at $8 million dollar per year, and none of them even question if that might be too much. You guys talk about us fans as if you are different from us, but you aren’t. You’re just fans who cover the team.
I'm a little worried if korpisalo plays 30 games this year... no way that was Don's plan when they were forced to take the literal worst goalie in the league....

Any info regarding B’s interest in Zadina, Sprong or Yamamoto? And if Lysell or Merkulov doesn’t work out would you think they are trade bait?
Bruins will be top 8 ish 👏. Think they will be a tough foe to knock off. Florida had to really dig deep to dispose of the B's
