Thanks for the video! I’m looking for ideas on my sheep/goat working pens. I like how it’s elevated off of the ground.

Glad it was helpful. I really like this system but I haven't seen them all either.

What’s the advantage or disadvantage of the wire mesh floor in the raceway? I don’t see where other manufacturers’ raceway have floors. I’m 6’ 4” and my son is 6’ 5”, so we’re tall, too. Any recommendations as to who makes one similar to yours today? Thank you.

It raises the livestock up so that I am not bending down as much to give vaccinations etc. Also lets dirt and debris fall to the ground and not build up where they travel. Call Stegall manufacturing Moberly, Missouri.

It's hard to sort three ways when the action is fast. Your mind has to work really fast. I prefer sorting two ways and then running them through again to make the second cut.

I like the setup. How are you trimming hooves? Have you made a video on trimming hooves?
    Thanks

I'm editing a video of the last herd we had to work this spring and it shows us trimming some hooves. We only trim those that are real bad or limping. It takes 2 people, one to hold their foot up and another to trim.

The other question I had was if you had any issues with abscess’s when using the same needle when giving the CD&T shots?

@@markswitzer755 No, and I don't know anyone who has had that problem. It would probably be more from the CDT than the needle used. You can buy the newer version 2cc shot that's not supposed to leave a knot under the skin. It's a little more expensive and I haven't had issues so never tried it.

What size needle do you like to use? We vaccinated our goats this last weekend using a 18 gauge needle 5/8 in length. From your video I went in the angle you showed in the video what a time saver all others I’ve seen have you tenting the skin. Are local Farm store has the syringe in stock so thanks to your information we are upgrading.
Thanks again great information on your channel.

@@markswitzer755 Glad it helped Mark. I use a 16 guage needle. The one with the white plastic cover. An 18 guage would probably work fine too.
