Just did a car that was full of this stuff. Used degreaser and a nylon sponge for first pass, then drill brush knocked out like 90% of it. Then steam, drill brush again, and extract with shop vac
Wouldn’t have believed it, if I hadn’t seen it. Does this version of Super Clean degreaser contain sodium hydroxide (i.e. lye) as do some other versions of the Super Clean products? How many miles on the Honda minivan? Thanks for the video and for giving us hope in cleaning old and dirty vehicles.
Hmm all I have heard is that this 1 gallon jug of super clean degreaser is basic (so if basic then it has some soap cleaner whereas acidic cleaners may have citric acid). I’m relatively new to automotive detailing and am still learning this stuff. Regarding the Honda it has 250,000 miles or so
