I SO agree with you on the instructor part of this! I am actually dropping from an AS program in Allied Health because I was tired of the instructor "teaching" (reading) off of misspelled PPT presentations. I would've been put through 4 more semesters of the same since we were in a 2-year class group. He may have been a good practitioner when he was active in his field, but as an instructor - a big NOPE! I'm intrigued with Medical Coding and look forward to viewing more of your videos. - Kim
I have just watched Mrs. Ortega's latest video, Mind Blown... I have to say something about it. This is addressed to anyone reading this forum that is considering her course! Every single word she said is true- every syllable, every utterance, every word. I will take it one step further. AAPC is a racket. The problem is, it is a necessary racket to maintain a credential. I have been internet trolling her for several years now. (lol) I have also looked at all the major-player programs. They are all the exact same except some are worse than others. Mrs. Ortega is head and shoulders above any of that other content. I've seen all the smack talk she has suffered at the hands of her competitors. None of it is true. The only reason I have not done her program yet is that I've been through some things like the unexpected passing of my husband, and battling cancer myself. That is all behind me now by the grace of God. It is Mrs. Ortega that will pull me through with her course and allow me to land the job of my dreams.
t's precious people like you who DO NOT self preserve but instead look out for others that achieve real happiness..never do anything for the money..do everything you do to lift, protect and defend people and you my dear, will live out the most rewarding and fulfilling life..God bless every step you take!
Ha! Its quite exciting to see Mrs O finally making exposing all the lies. Way to go public with it! I once saw Mrs Ortega go head to head with aapc...literally saw it with my own two eyes. Somebody had to be kicked out and it WAS NOT Mrs O! Lol
Another home run hit out of the ballpark. Here we have the truth behind the fantasy. This video goes out it way to enlighten everyone to what the terms mean and do not mean. It is very easy to allow student to think one way, but it is a shame that there are very few brave enough to correct the misinformation. As you watch this video you come away with one conclusion it is more important to be certified for what you know than it is for what degree you can hang on your wall. A good business example, you can get a degree in Accounting and maybe get a job as a clerk or you can become a certified accountant (CPA). The same can be said billing coders you can get a diploma, associate, or bachelor degree with emphasis on coding or you can go to a school learn what it truly means to be a coder, pass your certification and have the job you want and desire. This academy is that school for you.
Hi Nelly. Bringing back the 3 day still poses a health risk to way too many people still. The 3 day will come back when everyone is vaccinated or when the pandemic is behind us. Right now is the best time to become a medical coder because of all the remote coding job opportunities that are opening up due to the pandemic. I would highly recommend the online course.
