Country Mfg Manure Spreader | Pasture Maintenance

I fixed up an old Country Mfg manure spreader given to me and use it to fertilize the pastures with manure compost. This is part of our regenerative pasture maintenance which saves a lot of money and is, at least in my opinion, the best way to achieve healthy chemical-free grazing for our animals.

Have you gotten that replacement sprocket yet? Wondering about how easy it is to get parts for these. Also, Amazon reviews have a couple of instances of broken axles, and I see that the wheel on yours is wobbly. Do you think your axle is in danger of snapping? Do you think a replacement would be available?

I picked up a replacement sprocket from another owner. Really haven't had any other issues with it

@@jimrogers2795 I think you can order parts from the company. I did replace the half-moon key as well but those are in just about every hardware store.

@@chumucklafarm Thanks for that info! I guess I'm more worried about the more fundamental stuff. The history of broken axles and the wobble I see in your wheel make me nervous. I'm in no hurry and am shopping around. Thanks again for your helpful information on this brand-- very helpful!
