- In a match that had it all. Wales and Fiji met in their opening RWC 2023 Pool C match in Bordeaux. A tense final 10 minutes saw Fiji trail by 18 points, but they dug deep and put the pressure on Wales, creating a Rugby World Cup match for the ages.

So boring most of the time with penalty kicks and lack of running rugby that has seen the game go off a cliff in Australia, only played by pacific island migrants and a handful of elitist schools.
But this ending was great.

The system played a big part in denying Fiji this one, by not penalising Wales accordingly and even denied them what could have easily been awarded as a penalty try...just my thoughts.

Today's rugby rugby rules are unhealthy and dangerous.
Though we are changing slowly to adapt to the now modern dangerous rugby rules....we are still at the crossroads of this dangerous modern rugby rules to our most loving non dangerous running open Fiji rugby.
Hopefully World Rugby will come to their senses and make Rugby exciting again.

He (Fly Half) had already drawn the two nearest players, and just needed to pop the ball to the Inside Centre who could have run straight at the remaining two defenders, which would have given him an easy pass to the Outside Centre, or a long pass to the Winger.
Yeah you're right, my initial reaction was how did he drop it but they were 3 against 2 on the outside, a couple passes would have done the job

It's past the 80th minute and you've managed to scramble and fight back with a monumental effort from the brink, it's hard to keep a cool head. It would have been magnificent, but they were 5 meters shy of absolute glory.

@@croulantroulant3082The ref wasn't British, there was an English linesman however but maybe as a French person you won't understand that an English linesman would never be favourable to a Welsh, Scottish or Irish team and vise versa. For us it is the same as him being French or Australian.

Im Fijian, Yes the Ref missed Loads of Errors from Welsh side but its not his fault. It happens alot and i know he was not biased at all, only the lack of support from the Sideline Ref and TMO. Other than that, the Ref was spot on and also contributed in Fijis comback. What a Game it is😅😅
