He helps promote sevens their as well and holds tournaments just to spread the name of the sport to the locals. Now even David hassle Hoff is a fan of rugby. He went to cheer on the USA team in the Las Vegas sevens.

feel so proud and lucky to have been watching this tournament as a fijian, seeing my home country win all games with so much pride and confidence. the aura of the stadium was crazy, everyone was basically a fijian supporter, raising our flags victoriously, dancing and cheering, none of us had any doubt that Fiji wouldn’t win from the moment they entered the field. so much love for these boys, and so much love for my home country. it’s almost heart breaking that I might not ever get to experience this moment in history again, that’s why I feel so lucky I was atleast present in this one. the moment where they held the little girl up, goosebumps. now looking back I may have cried if it wasn’t for the fact I was overwhelmed by the cheers and flying colours in the stadium. our beautiful sevens team, brings so much pride to our little country 🇫🇯 bula vinaka, Fiji!

Watching this after 4 years makes me so emotional. I can remember when my brother and i woke up at 3.30, 4.30 early in the morning during high school days so that we could watch Fiji's game🤧😭I definitely miss this team❤ I wish we could go back in time and enjoy this small moments of happiness again 🥹. What a game by the Fijians. I feel the US could have done more. They had men on the outside a few times but the man with the ball wasn't looking. Not enough to win but they could have put Fiji under more pressure.

Anybody asking what the ref meant in the first penalty against fiji. "Never on-side". Don't know what he was talking about. Fiji number 3 was on-side and not being the tackler had every right to go in for the ball.
That's the thing about these referees. Fiji not only have the opposing teams to contend with,, they always, always get the greater penalty count in every game.

You can clearly see that in their records and stats that they have accomplished over the years in the sports of sevens. New zealand might be the only team that beats fiji over performance over the years but other than that Fiji is still one of the best teams to play the sport of sevens. This was arguably the Eagles strongest season. Sure they were smashed here, but throughout the whole tournament they finished at least top 4 and made the finals 5 times in a row.
