God, time goes by too fast. We're aging too fast. We're all aging too fast. It feels like I'm losing my years, even if, at only my late 20s, I'm supposed to have at least 60 more years thanks to modern medicine. It's a hell of a collision, the meaning of this song and my existential crisis.
I don't usually listen to this type of music, no disrespect to any of you. But this song is great. I love the sound, it's so mellow, & the tempo is perfect. I heard it on MTV (You Rock The Deuce)

@xl3rokenRec0rdx Isn't this one of their older songs? They performed this live more than three years ago. I remember this, Schizophrenia, Cough syrup and Garands of Normandie vividly. Pretty awesome.
@jzarow99 Two of the members were from my high school too. Sameer used to be in choir and Jake used to be on the men's varsity water polo team. So proud of these boys!
@SakuraMochiKitty this version is different from the newer one that they recorded as Young The Giant. there are less "oh"s, he only uses I once in the chorus, his pitch is higher. all around, I personally like this version better.

Listen to le new version by YTG. They turned the acoustic guitar into an electric guitar. So their new version is all electric now >_> ... well i personally like this version WAAAAAAAY better than the new one.

@DivorceTheSkyVLOGS Good to know, because I did hear the Young The Giant version first, then Darren Criss'. Darren's style was similar to this one. That's why I didn't like the Young The Giant version. I agree this version is much better.

Isn't the goal of music be to express yourself, share your talent, and bare your soul to all that will listen? This whole "mainstream" business is bullcrap. The song sounds practically the same now as it did then. They didn't change their songs or the style to please the masses. The masses were just pleased by their songs and style. They're lucky, not sell-outs.

It's cool hearing the differences between this version and newer one. Definitely made some good changes to it later.
