This is the first song I watched of there's and loved. But more importantly when I showed someone, I always picked out beard guy's most crucial role in this song that he had. He definitely made it. He will be sadly missed. RIP beard guy

Most heart felt condolences from my family to the Taylor family , the band , all their families and friends. our family saw WOTE at the YMCA Burlington in Dec 2012...where my son and daughter (aged 10 and 8 at the time) were in the front row on the right hand side looking out from the stage in an old archive photograph on their website. After the show all they talked about ( and again last weekend when the sad news broke on local and national Canadian news) was that they had touched the " Beard Guy" ....so very sad...but my kids will remember that night in Burlington long after I'm gone and the rest of their lives for sure.
How on earth can you have so many "lead vocalist" quality vocalists in one band. Amazing. First guy reminds me of my favorite The Eels tracks. The third singer brings back memories of listening to Paramore. Second guy has a so soulful, almost Sting / Police quality. I hope those are complimentary, I love all your voices and this cover so much.

It happens extremely rarely to me that I keep going back to a page and watch the video over and over and over. But this video does that for me. Everything is perfect: the ensemble, the way they play, the way they sing, the coordination, the fact that they are onto each other but never hit arms or fingers, that they are all wearing black, that they are very respectful of the song, that they are all good looking but they are not estheticizing the performance, that there are no frills or BS to distract from their act. It's SUPERB!
Watching this 9 years later makes me sad, because almost half the band is gone, the man on the right past, and the man beside him left. Luckily they found a new recruit and their band is still making beautiful music that I 💕

Long hair dude’s voice is so processed that I highly doubt what we are hearing comes from these mics. All the other guys voices are too clear to be so far away from the mics. This is a playback, however is nice and creative.
thing is you know, i have never seen anyone but them that does cover songs so flawlessly; never disrespecting the song by trying to stand out too much than the original, yet while also adding their very own unique character and artistry to it. and I'm saying this after years and years of watching so many that does the same covering as them. they're all very talented, yes ofc, but there's something special about this group that separates them from the rest that even if a decade had passed, you'd still remember it.
I still try to observe everything you guys are doing. We got one guy using the guitar body for percussive sound, two high string voices and a low string voice, and even being as creative as using the string portion BEHIND the nut of the guitar. All that while doing vocals and eventually even splitting into harmony. You guys are incredibly creative and talented, so kudos to you all.

thing is you know, i have never seen anyone but them that does cover songs so flawlessly; never disrespecting the song by trying to stand out too much than the original, yet while also adding their very own unique character and artistry to it.
and I'm saying this after years and years of watching so many that does the same covering as them. they're all very talented, yes ofc, but there's something special about this group that separates them from the rest that even if a decade had passed, you'd still remember it.
I still try to observe everything you guys are doing. We got one guy using the guitar body for percussive sound, two high string voices and a low string voice, and even being as creative as using the string portion BEHIND the nut of the guitar. All that while doing vocals and eventually even splitting into harmony. You guys are incredibly creative and talented, so kudos to you all.
