i don't really have a lot of complaints for these animations. all of the pistol reloads are pretty much recycled between each other except for the Glock. the shotgun reload involves Ethan loading a shell into the chamber, loading rounds into the tube, and then pumping the shotgun, even though he had already loaded a shell into the chamber. Ethan also checks the extraction port on the assault rifles too fast for him to actually see if the bolts are held open. but at that point he may as well save himself the time and just reload the weapon without checking. plus the sound on some of the guns feels a bit weak, as if they're too quiet or simply lack some punch to them. but otherwise the animation quality is spot on and are definitely good additions to the game.
Not too bad for Capcom's second attempt at an FPS ngl. I hope they keep at it. The more genres of games that Capcom tries to master, the better the RE Engine will be at being able to handle them!
The one thing that horrified me in this game is that Ethan lost his pinkie and ring finger by a Lycan and can still hold and reload his gun. At least his dominant hand is right.
I love all these reload animations, and most of them seem accurate. However, for the shotguns, since he already put a shell in the chamber, racking the pump action will only eject said shell outside, making it redundant
Ethan may of lost his hand, reattached it, lost his leg and reattached it, lost his other hand and reattached it, had his other hand deformed, stabbed in the face by Jack at the dinner table, stomped on by Jack, bitten by tons of enemies, but at least he managed to maintain his "man-thing".

I have a high ground
Can I just say these are the most fun weapons to use in a Resident Evil game in my opinion.
i don't really have a lot of complaints for these animations. all of the pistol reloads are pretty much recycled between each other except for the Glock. the shotgun reload involves Ethan loading a shell into the chamber, loading rounds into the tube, and then pumping the shotgun, even though he had already loaded a shell into the chamber.
Dude can reload in style even with his fingers missing.
3:09 The Force is with us 😎 😎😎😎
You're telling me this man went through military training and still doesn't know how to use iron sights?
You missed greatest weapon, the "Lady Dimitruscu Spanker"
3:08 wait wait hold up WHY IS THERE A FUCKING LIGHTSABER IN RE8???
I love all these reload animations, and most of them seem accurate. However, for the shotguns, since he already put a shell in the chamber, racking the pump action will only eject said shell outside, making it redundant
It just makes the animation cooler
Ethan may of lost his hand, reattached it, lost his leg and reattached it, lost his other hand and reattached it, had his other hand deformed, stabbed in the face by Jack at the dinner table, stomped on by Jack, bitten by tons of enemies, but at least he managed to maintain his "man-thing".
Mind you he is missing half his left hand and he still can reload fast.
Holy There is a LOT of weapons in this game
