mossman381 couldent agree more I have the ko2s on my 2003 s10 zr2 and I love them but I want to get some rims like you have to really make it pop maby different offset too
I know it looks easy in the videos but I have a lot hours working on this truck. The lights are an easy install but the grill, buffing and tires take quite a bit of time. It does look a lot better :)
That is hard to believe. These tires barely fit and I think there was a bolt on the inner fender that the tire hit sometimes so I don't know how they would fit on a stock height truck. This truck had a 2" body lift and I don't know if the torsion bars were touched or not. These are aftermarket rims. If you put 31" on factory rims that might make a difference but still I would have to see it to believe it.
They are Goodyear wrangler m/t 31/10.50/r15LT they fit great man without any kind of lift and without touching the torsion bars send me a pm on Facebook and I'll show you a picture
I have an 04 blazer zr2, just put a set of 31×10.5 15 tires on it, blazer is not lifted, fit perfect, no rubbing like I've seen in some videos.. Love them..
KS S. It has a body lift and I believe it is 2". You won't fit 31" tires under a stock truck. Not without cutting the fenders. Even with the body lift I have a tiny rub on the passenger side when I turn right and hit a bump. I also trimmed a small amount of the fender because it was so close.
Nice truck so all u did to fit the 31s was a 2 inch body lift ? No suspension lift i have a 2wd 94 s10 i want to fit 31s but was told i needed to do a 2 inch body lift with a 2 inch suspension lift
Honorato zapata Mine is a 4x4. I believe all it has is a 2" body lift. I think the 2wd is a lot lower than the 4wd trucks so I would guess you need a 2" body lift and some type of suspension lift on a 2wd.
I am a BFG guy. The tires make some noise but they are a mud tire. They feel pretty sticky but again they are a mud tire. I have heard a lot of people liking the KM2 tires. I am sure they will do me just fine.
BO in all the dealers here. Yeah, bs law but they cant mess too much with me as im personal plates. They dont mess too much with pickup trucks either but id rather not bring attention to myself
Look up the height of the tires you have now. Look up the tire size you want to go to. Take the difference between the two and divide by 2. That will give you how much height you will gain.
just got my 31x10.5s mounted on my 01 s10 non zr2 and it only rubbs the frame at full lock. havent touched my T-bars. i am very suprissed it doesn't rub the inner fender. now i want to see how much offset i can get away without lifting it Lol. -18 or -43 are my choices Lol
yeah factory wheels now.. and its got about one inch of space between the tire and fender/bumper Looks really good though. theres a image of it to make you miss your old s10 Lol long time subscriber been wanting 31's since you made this video keep up the good content! gyazo.com/dc3676ad1cd35f21d31803542cfc5203
This truck had I think a 2" body lift and I believe 0 offset 15x7 rims and if I remember right I was hitting a bolt on the back of the inner fender. Not sure if the torsion bars were touched on it or not. These tires were the perfect size for this truck. Without any lift I don't see those offsets working out. I do miss this truck. Would have been a perfect truck for a V8 swap. Body was very good.
yeah i will probably end up lifting it 2.5inches with the rough country lift.. but i might try cranking the stock torsion bars and shackles on the back.. but that wont be for another month or two...
Looks good! You are definitely going to have to Line-X the rocker panels. Looked into it on my Ranger, its about $1000 for the Rockers, flares, and and bumper. Bed wasn't included in that quote either :/... I have those same Cooper Discovery's on my stock Ford rims, I want BFG's for the winter. The BFG's weren't too bad on price were they? (If you don't mind me asking)
I am going to bed line my rockers myself. I will do a video when I get to it. The BFG's are not cheap. About $205 a tire. The AT tires are cheaper but I wanted the aggressive look.
***** I might have but have forgotten by now, sorry. This truck had a 2" body lift and maybe slight cranking on the torsion bars. Standard 4x4 not the ZR2.
***** With the 2" body lift and maybe even some torsion bar crank these tires still hit my fender when turning and hitting a bump. Not sure if the torsion bars are turned any or not by the previous owner. I really wouldn't want to tell you they will fit and then they don't. What size tires do you have now? And how much clearance do they have?
+Noah R. Cragar rims and BFG KM2 tires. The rims are pretty cheap the tires are not. If you look at my previous videos I give you all the info on the rims.
Thank you for replying! One last question are those width tires 10.5 or 11.5? I plan to get those on my ford ranger. Your truck looks very nice and rugged. Good job and take care of it!
I am guessing they are 10" wide. I have a set of 30x9.5x15 and they measure about 9" wide. The 31x10.5x15 I would guess will be 10" wide. I don't have the truck anymore so I can't measure. My cousin bought the truck and he uses it a lot.
ok, good to know. have you had any experience with Mickey Thompson tires? Im thinking of either going with the BFG KM2's or the Mickey Thompson Deegan 38's

Was this truck already lifted before tires, I am looking to lift mine and put on tires. Thanks.
Damn. These tires really made the truck look beefed up. Good job. I like them tires.
+ELiTE_OpTiic Rims and tires are what make or break a vehicle. The most important mod you can do look wise.

Really makes the truck look good.
Just purchased a black 2000 GMC Sonoma SLS. Im putting a lift kit on it after seeing your video. Great job.
I got a 1994 chevy s10 and I'm doing the same but just wait till u see the price on lift kits they aren't cheap I hope u realize
Very nice!! You have defently made me want a crew cab blacked out dually!!
Looks a lot better! Good video
Thanks
Looks good man. I always look forward to your videos
Thanks, I do my best to get good video.
You should get some pictures next to the dually. Both trucks look real good nice work.
I am going to get a video of the truck with what I have gotten done. I will put them side by side for a pic.
6:47 dog looking back at the camera like wtf is this man doing?! lol
Amazing how just a few minor bolt ons can change the entire look of a truck.. Looks mean like the dually..
I know it looks easy in the videos but I have a lot hours working on this truck. The lights are an easy install but the grill, buffing and tires take quite a bit of time. It does look a lot better :)
Just got done at the tire shop the 31/10.50s fit great don't rub one bit!!!!!

Can I also see your pic Josh? Comment a link to your fb
Looks good Moss. Get that Camper done. That's been to long in the making.
I know, I have to get after it :)
I have an 04 blazer zr2, just put a set of 31×10.5 15 tires on it, blazer is not lifted, fit perfect, no rubbing like I've seen in some videos.. Love them..
The ZR2 trucks had a 2" body lift from factory I believe. This was just a 4x4.
zr2 also come with 31s factory
Yes, a few videos I seen here said that 31's would rub and that you needed to trim or lift to fit a zr2...
265×75r15's are 31's
Andrew Kendall I have a 2003 zr2 I want to get some new wheels I want to keep the same 15” but I want a -39 offset do you think that will rub ?
mossman381 Zr2’s don’t come with body lift. It’s a 2” or 3” suspension lift.
Turned out good!
Thanks man
Nice job! Get used to the truck being dirty. Learned that having big tires that is my truck was dirty all the time. Sure looks nice though. Enjoy!
Having to wash it more is probably a good thing. If I really get sick of it I can get some flares.
They look good Mossman.
Looks good, you should do a video of the bottom thats getting bed lined
I will do a video when I get to it. Not sure when that will be.
Any lift on that truck? putting them on my truck stock...fingers crossed
KS S. It has a body lift and I believe it is 2". You won't fit 31" tires under a stock truck. Not without cutting the fenders. Even with the body lift I have a tiny rub on the passenger side when I turn right and hit a bump. I also trimmed a small amount of the fender because it was so close.
The truck has p235 70 15 from previous owner I'll check tommrow for clearence ik ground to top of fender is 37 inches not sure much else
***** Mine I believe had 30x9.5x15. I will measure my fender height tomorrow for you.
Can you do a video about the vehicle in the back ground at 1:22.
Thanks
Looks like a VW Rabbit Van-up truck.
Looks tough i want a VIDEO!
It is a Ford Econoline. It is not mine. I don't know if the owner wants me to make a video of it or not. If I see him I will ask.
ok it looked like a VW
awesome look
You should throw some ZR2 side mirrors on it they're a little bigger than those
The ZR2fender flares might fit also
Wish I still had this truck.
Nice truck so all u did to fit the 31s was a 2 inch body lift ? No suspension lift i have a 2wd 94 s10 i want to fit 31s but was told i needed to do a 2 inch body lift with a 2 inch suspension lift

@@mossman381 is it the same process for the jeep blazer 1999 2wd? Just a 2 inch body lift right?
looks great i like it. Im doing a similar project to my colorado. i lifted it 3 inches and wanting to put 265/75/16s on it basically 31s
This was the only mini truck I have had. I do like the looks of the Colorado.
should do some window tint, looks good though
Thanks
Did you use wheel spacers or the rims are large?
No spacers.
Hey if you could do a review on the tires that would be great trying to decide between bfg mud terrains or cooper stt's
I am a BFG guy. The tires make some noise but they are a mud tire. They feel pretty sticky but again they are a mud tire. I have heard a lot of people liking the KM2 tires. I am sure they will do me just fine.
About mudflaps, if you see any factory dually rear mudflap I could use some (before I get fined. All duallies are required to have rear mudflaps here)
Another dumb law. I will let you know if I find any.
BO in all the dealers here. Yeah, bs law but they cant mess too much with me as im personal plates. They dont mess too much with pickup trucks either but id rather not bring attention to myself
I HAVE A 96 HIGHRIDER CAME WITH 31X10.50 15's will 32's be to much more
to fit in the wheel wells.?
I don't know. The 31" tires are a pretty tight fit.
That dog wanted to help you with that grinder.
What zise tires and were can i find d rims
@8:04 HERE HAVE A LIL SLIME TO LUBE IT UP
Pikkon
That dog don't want nun of that air cutter.
Do you know how much actual ground clearance you gained with the 31's? How much higher up does the rear differential sit than stock?
Look up the height of the tires you have now. Look up the tire size you want to go to. Take the difference between the two and divide by 2. That will give you how much height you will gain.
@@mossman381 thank you 👍
Did you lifted the truck
I didn't lift it but I think it had a body lift installed. Maybe 2", not sure.
do you know what is the backspacing on those rims
Check the playlist on this truck. Should be a rim video.
I meant to ask how big is the lift on the truck in this video not the other one I asked on
The truck was lifted when I got it. I believe it had a 2" body lift. Not sure if anybody touched the torsion bars or not.
is that an old corvair or econoline in the background ?
Econoline, not mine.
sweet unusual thing
It is unusual :)

I am guessing factory rims are being used right now. I would say you are going to rub pretty bad with those offsets.

Trimming some is ok to get tires to fit. The fun goes away when you have to hack a bunch of metal out to fit tires.
What was the bs of those rims I want mine to stick out like yours maybe even a lil bit more maybe a inch or so
***** I don't remember but I have a video on how I choose my rims. It gives all the specs on them. Look at my playlist on this truck.

with aftermarket wheels do you torque them to the same specs as the factory wheels?
Yes, the torque rating is not for the wheels it is for the studs.
You ever measure ur fender height from ground
***** I might have but have forgotten by now, sorry. This truck had a 2" body lift and maybe slight cranking on the torsion bars. Standard 4x4 not the ZR2.
What size tires are these and these are on 15x7's right?
They are 31/10.5/15 and yes the rims are 15x7.
Did you get the Soft 8s with 0mm offset or the +6mm offset?
I couple videos before this one in the playlist I told what they were. I think 0mm.
mossman381 ok, thank you!
how did you extended the brake lines ???? thanks
Extend what brake lines?
What lift kit do you have on here? Is that a 6'' lift?
2" body lift.
Where did you buy your headlights?
Ebay
You believe those tires would fit on my s10 have a 2.5 inch suspension lift 4x4

+mossman381 ah sorry
I have a 1994 S10 4wd will 31.1050.15 fit my truck with out rubing
I doubt it. This truck has a body lift and they almost didn't clear. Maybe with factory rims.
Ok thanks sir
I have a 2000 Chevy S-10 2.2L inline 4. Could 30" A/T's fit on it with out a lift?
These are close with a 2" body lift. If your truck is a 2wd then probably not.
No 30s will not fit without a lift I put 235/75/15 cooper discover AT3s on my 2003 s10 2.2L with no lift and it was scrubbing
I have a 2001 s10 4x4 it has 29.95s on it right now could I fit 31s?
I don't think so unless you have a ZR2. Going to need some sort of lift.
Where do you buy all your BFG tires?
Ebay seems to have the best deals that I can find.
Thank You!!
i have a 4x4 s10 1995 I have 10" rims 31 10.5 tires what do i need to do
Not sure how you are going to fit 10" wide rims. I would say a big lift kit would be needed.
what kind of rims and tires? and how much?
+Noah R. Cragar rims and BFG KM2 tires. The rims are pretty cheap the tires are not. If you look at my previous videos I give you all the info on the rims.
Alright, thanks!!
Moss man where are you from now n Wisconsin?

will size 31 10.50 r15 bf goodrich ko2 look good on a 3 inch body lift on a ford ranger?

what is your opinion on how well these perform? im would be getting them in 33x12.50x16
Great tires.
ok, good to know.
have you had any experience with Mickey Thompson tires?
Im thinking of either going with the BFG KM2's or the Mickey Thompson Deegan 38's
Never tried any Mickey Thompson tires. I have had several sets of BFG. All Terrain and the KM2. Love both of them.
These fit perfectly in my 77 d100
What are the name of those rims
I have a whole playlist on this with everything I did. Check out the rim video.
It is not a safe solution to grind down your brake caliper, why didn't you get some 5mm spacers.
+Sjors Boomschors The small amount that I ground down will not effect anything in the braking system.
Oke roger
Hey mossman. My question is I own a 93 blazer full size at stock height can I put bfg 285/75/16 tires on a 16x8 rim with no lift?
I don't think so. This truck has a body lift. I think 2" and these tires are very close to hitting.
what wheels are yhose, name plz
Cragar Soft 8 I think. I have a video in the project playlist that tells all about the rims and all the specs.
What are thos headlights called?
RizoProduction I got them on ebay. Just search for black headlights and you should be able to find some like mine.
Did your truck have a lift ? When you mounted these on ?
It had a body lift when I bought it. Maybe 2" but not for sure.
Does a lift affect the car balance? And what are the tire dimension?
those are some mean looking tires. i might have to get them instead of nittos
They are more aggressive than what I need but you only live once and I want the aggressive look. I have heard of people getting 40k out of these if you rotate regular.
thats good milage.
whats the name off the rims
BRUTAL KHAOS Cragar Soft 8
thank you
what kind of lift
+Logan Norman I think it had a 2" body lift. It was on before I bought it.
15x7 wheels?
Logan Norman I think so. It's been a long time but I think I say in the video what they are.
