Thanks Jan. It won't be a great harvest this year because a lot of the pumpkins rotted with all the rain...

Hard to be optimistic this year. I am still hoping for the best.
    Thanks for posting.

It sure has been a tough year. Doesn't seem like hardly anyone had reasonable weather....

We use the three point sprayer and I will place survey flags at the end of each row that I go in. That way I know where to start each time and I'm running over the same area. Seemed to work well for me this year. My issue with the plastic this year was our pumpkins matured faster than I would have liked. We had to get some out of the field in early August and keep them in the barn.

Our pumpkins grow faster in the plastic too. It helps us with our short growing season. I wish I could have used my boom sprayer because it would have saved a lot of manual labor, but because the vines spread so much there is no room to drive between the rows.

Pumpkins here will be rotten by Halloween they’re so far ahead with all the heat and moisture

Some of ours rotted as they were growing. Probably lost close to half of them. Hopefully the remaining ones will make it...

That sprayer is pretty slick! Is that an add on option, or came like that? It seems as though mother nature as followed suit with about everything else that's gone crazy in 2021! Hate it's been a rough year, hopefully things will turn out the best possible for y'all!! Thank you for bringing us along, look fwd to more sir!!

The sprayer is built that way right from the manufacturer. I think it is really designed to spray trees and tall things. I am ready for this year to be over... Thanks for watching 🙂

I liked the Stihl setup. Two questions- 1. What's the size of tank and at the rate you were misting how many times did you have to refill? 2. What brand of fulgide would you recommend for mixing with your sprayers.? Thanks

Is that backpack mister pretty effective, other than the heft of lugging it around? I'm wondering if it could be use it like a poor man's airblast sprayer if I rig up an auxilary tank in the back of my UTV and drive around with it. How many gallons per acre do you figure for funigicides?

I think it is pretty similar construction, just with a different nozzle and a tank :)
