    Does it help with muscular torticollis though? I think most got corrected as an infant but I just discovered I have mild muscular torticollis as an adult and it’s the cause of my face being asymmetrical 😢

      @@Forsaken_17well I asked on reddit and apparently PT is definitely better than nothing and might even be pretty effective for mild cases like mine. It's from reddit though, take it with a grain of salt

Regularly doing the recommended exercises is crucial for improvement. You can also consider massage, heat therapy, medications, or, in severe cases, botulinum toxin injections or surgery. However since you mentioned you discovered a mild muscular torticollis affecting facial symmetry, it's best that you consult with healthcare professionals such as a physical therapist, orthopedic specialist, or neurologist. They can assess your condition, provide a diagnosis, and recommend a suitable treatment plan.

    Hi, I feel like I might have uneven neck from playing violin. I am right-handed and I used to hold the violin with the left side of my chin. I also noticed that my left jaw looks way more defined than my right jaw.
    So which side of my neck is shorter/tighter and requires more stretching?

      Hi, @sj.lung96! Your neck tension might be related to how you hold the violin. To help, focus on stretches like tilting your head gently to each side, and holding for 15-30 seconds. You can also try placing a hand on your head to deepen the stretch. Shoulder rolls can also ease tension.

    Quick question, my neck is tilted from right to left side so which side so I need to do these exercises?

    My 14 years old son have torticollis since childhood, would this exercise fix it??in how long??

However, if your son has had torticollis since childhood, it's important to approach the issue with the guidance of a specialist such as a pediatric orthopedic surgeon or a physical therapist. They can assess the severity of the condition and recommend an appropriate treatment plan. Improvement may take time, and your son's progress should be closely monitored by healthcare professionals.

    That helps the trapezius but it does not fix torticollis. I have done those exercises and many more in physical therapy for months, still have it.

      @@FeelGoodLife thank you. I doubt a doctor can do much other than prescribe meds. I took an anti inflammatory hoping it’ll ease some pain and I’ll continue to apply heat. Definitely going to rest it. It’s all around the shoulders side of neck back even in my back, close to clavicles. Will check out your link thank you 🙏🏻
