I just looked up this kit on the website. If the parts are OEM quality or better, plus the Sonnax kit, documentation, and the convenience of not having to track the parts down individually... the price isn't high at all. Especially when one considers what these parts do, and their projected lifespan.
I think you guys should really do a video on 4x4 transfercases/transmission combos and brands strengths and weaknesses. Many people would find this very helpful, especially ranchers and farmers. Please help. Thanks. :)
Hello im ha ing a problem witn my 4r70w when driving it shift fine until it tries to go in to over drive it goes into neutral and then slams into overdrive unless I let the gas go then it goes in smooth what could be my problem
I would like to know where you found the information on how to decipher the tag. I got my transmission out of the junkyard I need a 4R70W and I'm not sure that's what I have.
I'm convinced that I can do the work, but I would like to know what will it take to remove the transmission from the motor. Is there anything that I need to be aware of, the problem with my transmission is. When cold it will shift into all gears, until it warms up. I should have took the turn a little slower.
Why can't I find any info on my 1996 Dodge RAM 1500 3.9 liter Van's 32RH Transmission. I have no Reverse and it WILL NOT even Roll backwards in any gear.(Trans locked up not Rear end) Lo gear Nothing. 2 Gear moves like it is in Lo. 3 Gear moves like it is in 2nd. Drive seems to go as it should. Neutral goes like it is in Drive. Reverse Nothing. Park sometimes Shuts engine down immediately... but will start up again and act like Park.

12:45 ring grooves does not mean replacement of the case.There is a reamer tool and sleeve available.

The outside of that case looks great, but the inside like the output shift bore area has many cracks.

I missed a deformed seperator plate and burned my direct clutch pack twice!!! Not fun redoing

i have a broken belvile spring and the entire pack is destroyed is there replacements for it avaliable

This is a FORD transmission video. Throw the Dodge away and buy a newer Truck. problem solved.
