I find it insane how versatile Bastille is. Like, you have Overjoyed on one side of the spectrum with string instruments and electronic flourishes, and then you have this gritty hip-hoppy masterpiece. I ain't even mad.
I really wished that bastille did actually try to go further with this kind of songs. Honestly the beat was ahead of it's time with the bass going crazy and all of that. Just imagine a collab between them with someone like baby keem or kendrick or maybe even kanye.
To you guys complaining about how "this is not their style" please hear me out: THIS IS BASTILLE'S MIXTAPE. If you truly are the 'fan' you say you are, you would know that these mixtapes they make (OPH1 and 2 and now VS.) are Bastille's way of putting out fun, experimental and very different styles/genres of music to what they normally release. Their actual albums will have the same Bastille sound if that's what's you're looking for, but they use these mixtapes as a slightly more creative outlet where they can experiment with other genres of music that they love but are not usually associated with. This is why you may not enjoy songs like bad_news, Torn Apart, The Driver or this- they are all on their new mixtape, and NOT THEIR ALBUM. Thank you and have a great day! (P.S. I've loooved everything you've released so far cause I enjoy a pretty diverse range of genres. You boys are awesome, keep doing what you're doing! x)
Im slightly annoyed with all the people saying this isn't bastille do your research please. this is a MIXTAPE. a way for them to make songs that wouldn't sit well with the audience for their albums. hence all the people saying they don't like the rap and hip hop and that this isn't bastille. this is bastille through and through

to each his own with music tastes, but personally I believe Angel Haze is a very talented artist. Rap isn't my favorite form of music, but regardless I still acknowledge her work as an art within music. I appreciate you don't like her rap, but I think it works and obviously bastille as a whole do too or else they wouldn't release it. I like that Bastille is experimenting with their sound and seeing what they can do with their talents instead of sticking to just one thing to keep their normal audience happy. The more they try out different things, the more they learn and the better their music will be in general. I don't like rap but to me this wasn't that bad, just not to my personal taste. People learn and grow from experience so it's annoying when fans complain and don't give a band/artist opportunity to do so :/
Dan just wouldn't give a fuck and do it anyway, regardless of what the fans say. Let's face it, the band could have no fans at all and they would still make music.
Wtf. Y'all should appreciate Angel Haze talent. Incredible artist and everyone should listen to her other stuff to take time to listen to her powerful lyrics. I'm glad her and Dan are such good friends. YOU GO ANGEL HAZE!
@@LukePenning she can keep up with the awful rap but doesn't have talent like you're swelling her head blowing smoke up her butt. She's wasting her talent.
Dear lord this is the stuff he did before the stuff everyone hears now so if anything this is his original style along with songs like flaws, alchemy, irreverence
I don't understand why anyone would label Angel Haze as "some shitty rapper." Have you even heard any of her other collaborations? Her lyrics are pretty meaningful (like Bastille?) And for the people with the " don't collab with people " comments: they have always collaborated with other artists in their mixtapes, it isn't some sudden change? On the first two mixtapes they collabed with various artists such as Maiday, Barnaby Keen Band, Rory Andrew, Jonas Jalhay, F Stokes, the lead singer of To Kill A King (Ralph), ...did I make my point?
Am I the only one that actually really loves this? I think it's really different and Dan wouldn't do it if it wasn't his style. they are trying something different and not everyone is going to like it. But for me personally I think it's really good ❤
These guys were my go to group from age 18 and I've never needed another type of music I'm now 26 and still happily listen to the oldest Bastille tunes on repeat... This one however was new to me a few days ago and I love it 😍
Everyone who is freaking out. This is just a mix tape. It probably won't even hit shelves. They're writing these songs for fun. Don't freak out. They won't change.
If you're harassing bastille for their new music not being 'them' and wondering 'where the old bastille' are then you need to stop and take a deep breath because if you honestly think this new music isn't them, then you clearly haven't listened to part 1 and 2 of other people's heartache. Their mixtapes have always been experimental and this one is no different, Dan has said in the past that this is an experimental mixtape and their second album will probably sound nothing like this. So i know it might be hard to hear but this new sound IS bastille, and I'd say more true to them than bad blood is, Even when you look back to Dan's solo work, that was extremely experimental at some points. Go back to other people's heartache and listen to songs like 'killer' or 'sweet pompeii' or 'love don't live here' and then come back and tell me this isn't bastille. Also a side note for you saying rapping on bastille tracks is a new thing, there was a hell of a lot of rapping on other people's heartache. It would be so damn easy for bastille to sell out and make crappy pop songs for more radio plays that their label would like them too but they haven't, they are making songs that they are genuinely happy with and have put a hell of a lot of effort into, and you can tell that just by listening to them. Also they are shining the light on some artists they believe in and they probably think deserve more recognition, and that's great, bastille have always been very good at helping lesser known artists. Honestly you don't have to like everything a band puts out to be a fan but please don't harass the band just because this new sound isn't the sound you personally like, it's not the bands fault you have a different music taste. How do you ever expect a band to grow without experimenting a little bit?
This is why I like this song so much, been following bastille since there existence in 2011 see how far they have come , I love how the Mixtape's are used to be experimental towards their content and songs/ style which they are producing , obviously not everyone's going to like everything , There's something for everyone a wide diverse selection of great songs.
Personally, I'd love to see Angel Haze in a lot more in the their stuff because when they collaborate, it's almost guaranteed that the music is gonna be fantastic.
i'm absolutely loving this omg it sounded great live and even better that they've changed it up a bit, oph3 is sounding so good up to now! one thing thats a bit annoying about oph3 though is that they arn't releasing it for a free download lol me being cheap but the other two were free so what's changed? is it just because they're more popular now?
People need to calm down, this is a mixtape and not an album. Bastille isn't changing their sound, each song has a different sound because the other artist featuring on the song has an input on the song itself.
I don't know what people are ranting about. Personally I absolutely love this song (all of the OPH pt. III songs they've released so far is amazing imo). Bastille are excellet musicians and they are doing this EP because they want to collaborate with people that inspire them and to have fun with their friends. I love it. I love Bastille and I love that they are doing whatever they feel like they want to do.
Why people keep complaning about the rap part? Oh well I honestly love this song so much. Cause well, angel haze is bae, dan is bae, woody is bae, will is bae, kyle is bae In other notes, i miss bastille so much omg
Wow, this song will be 1 year old in 2 days! It makes me aware that even a single word can be a weapon and change everything. Thank you so much Bastille!
I really am in love with the new songs. The raps are great and really put a spin onto bastille's usual style. If you don't enjoy these songs or like the 'old' Bastille better, don't listen to these songs and continue listening to albums like Bad Blood! Bastille has worked so hard on their new songs, no reason to hate on them.
I adore the fact that they have the courage to experiment with different sounds and beats, thing I don't see very often today.People tend to stick to what they know which is such a waste of talent.Cheers, great song.
chill out people. mixtapes are about experimenting, bastille are trying out new things, maybe to adopt some, maybe not. that doesn't mean their actual album will be anything like this. i personally think it's so different but i quite enjoy it!
This is INSANELY awesome and brilliant !! Love Bastille and Angel Haze so much. Their music is so diverse and shows that they won't be entitled to just one genre ! Keep it up guys! Love you !
There's a simple solution to those who are saying they don't like the 'new bastille sound'- accept the fact that they experiment with mixtapes or accept that you're not a fan of them as a band but of just a select handful of their songs. Artists evolve just as people grow and you can either keep listening till the sound grows on you or accept that you don't like it and just liked the band for their previous music. It's a bit different for me but I won't say it's bad, it's interesting and after the first time I listened to it I'm already dancing as awkwardly as Dan does on stage and I couldn't care less! Simple solution :P
Everyone needs to simmer down. True Bastille fans would know how the Other People's Heartache mixtapes work. CALM DOWN. Bastille isn't changing their style and all that. Before you come here and whine about your "favorite band" who you "know so much about" changing their style, go listen to the other 2 parts of OPH and realize that these mixtapes have nothing to do with future albums and style changes. These mixtapes are a chance for Bastille to do awesome covers of songs they like. So, to all you bashing Bastille for their oh so terrible "style change" pull your head out of your ass AND DO SOME RESEARCH SO YOU ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT. This mixtape isn't an influencer of the new album to be released, just as OPH pt. 1 and OPH pt. 2 weren't influencers on Bad Blood (the album). Good grief. These songs are freaking awesome. Chill and enjoy. I'm so ecstatic for this, I've waited so long for a new OPH and I'm so happy it's finally happening. True stormers, I'm sure would agree with me on this one. :)
People need to realize that Bastille loves more than just the kind of music they put out. This is a mixtape and more important a mixtape of COLLABORATIONS meaning many new sounds are going to come from it! This is their chance to basically just have fun and experiment and work w artists outside of their genre. They love Angel Haze so I'm sure they were stoked to work w her. Their next ALBUM will have the same sound we all know them for. Don't flip shit yet.
It's 2020 and this is still such a VIBE. Your voice is a weapon.... Isn't your voice a weapon when speaching or debating in the election..... I'm hella glad I'm not an American and I didn't have to deal with the stress of the election. Okay nevertheless I love this song and I love Bastille and y'all are amazing!!!
I've been waiting to hear a recorded version of this song since I heard it at Coachella! I'm so proud of Bastille for continuing to not put themselves in a certain niche and taking the chance to explore more of their influences - I think it's turning out fucking amazing!
I love how most of the people who hate this say 'I love bastille'. If you loved the band you would know that bastille has produced 3 different mixtapes and its just another way to express their creativity and collaborate with other artists on songs that wouldnt fit into their albums.
Everyone, just accept the changes? It's still Bastille, they're still the same band, and I still love their music. They're experimenting, this is a mixtape. Maybe there will be a version without rap, who knows. Torn apart also has a version without the rap?
I don't think you people understand the point of the Other People's Heartache series of albums.. It's all experimentation. I highly doubt their 2nd full album will be much like the songs on here.
Noone likes the choir in the background? It's pretty epic. Just learn to listen to music in a more musical way, and you'll appreciate their songs so much more..
I really love how Bastille is exploring different types of music, because it really makes them overall unique. They are so talented so it's amazing no matter how much they change their style, they will still be an amazing band. (can't wait for the Haim song with them)
I'm seeing a lot of comments dissing Angel Haze. Which is fine, it's your opinion. But I beg you, if you have the chance to experience this song live, fucking TAKE IT. Angel kills it. Absolutely slaughters it until everyone is just puddles on the floor. The recorded version is okay, but I think the live version is way more wicked.
When I first listened to this I really didn't like it, but coming back to it now I don't know how I didn't hear how AWESOME it is! I'd love to see a good street dance crew do something with this, it could be amazing!
I think that it's wonderful Bastille is trying out new sounds! You don't have to like every new song they put out but realize that this is something they have always wanted to do. I'm so happy that they have the chance to collaborate with other artists and experiment with their style. Dan's voice sounds amazing in all of their new songs - go Bastille!
OTHER PEOPLE'S HEARTACHE PT.III : ▶TRACKLISTING ◀ 1. Fall Into Your Arms (Bastille vs The Gemma Sharples Quartet) 2. Bite Down (Bastille vs HAIM) 3. bad_news (Bastille vs MNEK) 4. The Driver 5. Axe To Grind (Bastille vs Tyde vs. Rationale) 6. Torn Apart (Bastille vs Grades vs. Lizzo) 7. Weapon (Bastille vs Angel Haze vs. F-U-G-Z vs Braque) 8. Remains (Bastille vs Rag N Bone Man vs Skunk Anansie)
One of the things I love about Bastille is the incredible versatility they have in their music, they always seem to mix a bunch of genres and take it even further in the mixtapes. If you're a longtime fan you KNOW their mixtapes have always been kinda weird, like, ya'll should know better by now. If you're not familiar with the past two mixtapes, go look them up and realize this song actually fits really well in their creative spectrum. Personally, I think this song is amazing and I'm really looking forward to listening to all of the other songs.
I like torn apart and the driver but this song isn't really my style and I'm happy it's just a song on a mixtape and I have a really high expectation for the new album!
Personally, I'm pretty neutral when it comes to whether or not I like the song. Rep isn't particularly my cup of tea but I do like the song. This isn't my favourite Bastille song ever but I most certainly don't hate it.
ITS A MIXTAPE, BASTILLE ISNT IS CHANGING THEIR STYLE. Please, stop with coments like "Please stop with rap", "Dan Smith's Ruined by some crappy rapper" and more.
CarlosLeonardoBr Cara eles não estão mudando seu estilo musical, Calma! Eles só mudaram o gênero para esse novo album. Ops: E sim, eu gostei de todas as musicas desse novo album
I'm sorry but i love this song it sounds like previously on other people heartache mixtape !!! This is what I love about Bastille they can sound amazing in whatever they do... #Stormer4life
It's so annoying, all this moaning about change, I mean like do you want them to stay the same forever? I loved their old stuff but I had kind of forgotten about them because although it was amazing, it was boring after a while. This new stuff is fresh and so good , it gets stuck in my head all day. I mean would like to live your life on repeat, living the same day over and over again. Of course not, so don't make them
This is really something.. I feel like the mixtape explores different vocals and ranges which is what makes a band/vocalist successful, I personally feel like Braque goes perfectly with Bastille as they both have unique voices that are distinctive throughout the song. E x
Bastille has been doing this the whole time they've been a band with Other People's Headache I and II. They obviously like to experiment as side work. You don't have to like it but it's not taking away from their "normal" sound/albums they will come out with in the future.
To be fair, most time since Dan does all writing, composing and is an amazing front man its an easy mistake for those who dont closely follow bastille and come across the covers/mixtapes
I love it, but Dan's voice miss a lot it wasn't necessary the effects in his voice, it would be a great song like ever, but by the rest I prefer live version
I love this, its new and refreshing. Love the diversity between their songs, it truly shows they don't consider themselves in a certain genre. Amazing :)
Now while I can appreciate that they are trying different styles of music while integrating their own style, I hope that their actual album is nothing like this. I'm not really into rap. Don't get me wrong I LOVE Bastille and love them for being different and trying new things.
I know their second album won't be like this, it's only as a new original like EP collab type of thing; but I do agree still as this isn't typically my type of music (these are just my thoughts haha) But still, I shouldn't be one to complain at all! Bastille are amazing, they've created so many other beautiful songs so for one song that isn't something that takes our fancy, there's a whole list of other amazing ones waiting to be heard :D plus, there is always more to look forward to ^_^ Yay!
Like dan has said many times, The mixtapes are experiments, they explore different sounds and genres and then they see what the fans like. The album won't sound like these songs.
I know that's what I pointed out :D I still think they're awesome no matter what soo...urm yeah that's all I have to say really. As long as they're happy, then what else matters ^_^
i love this! i think everyone sounds great, especially after listening to the live version with poorer audio for so long. thanks for all the hard work that went into this song. can't wait for the mixtape release! x
Dylan Pijper did you seriously fucking think I was talking about Dan, you fucker???? hell no, I was talking about Braque so take that shit somewhere else
I find it insane how versatile Bastille is. Like, you have Overjoyed on one side of the spectrum with string instruments and electronic flourishes, and then you have this gritty hip-hoppy masterpiece.

graytlo it is, listen to their pre bad blood songs. Angel haze doesn't fit too well, but the songs torn apart, the driver, and bad_news are amazing!
graytlo It has been Bastille since 2013.
***** Bastille formed in 2011 ? ....
LTP Media (Luke Penning) that's not the point popularity doesn't strike just because you started a band/group/or, what ever.

Before you say they are changing their style.. Go listen to their first 2 mixtapes. I swear to god.
Killer feat fugz is the best!!!
Yes!!! That song is Fucking sick! It's actually my favorite one off of all the Other People's Heartache's. Soo good so good
There were some songs/covers on the first 2 mixtapes I loved... Others I have never listened to again.

I love the beat

LYRICS:
[Intro: Bastille & Angel Haze]
Yeah, yeah
[Verse 1: Angel Haze]
This is vocal detection
Front line in open selection
Outlined in open profession
This is his vocal confession
Right now your chords are at war
Screaming you wanted it more
Sit down and master the reference
Right now your voice is a weapon
Wake up to stars in the sky
Watch light revolve with your mind
Watch all the storms rising
And put all your palms in the sky
No more falling to pressure
No more failing acceptance
Throw all your hell towards the heavens
Cause your voice is a weapon
[Hook: Bastille]
And your voice is a weapon
And we’ll do with it what we can
And your voice is a weapon
And we’ll do with it what we can
I’ll fall into your arms again
I’ll fall into your arms again
I’ll fall into your arms again
I’ll fall into your arms
[Verse 2: Angel Haze]
We dance with the devil and then
Your halo's the color of sin
The portrait I’m smothering in
Means everything’s lovely again
Nothing’s quite as it seems
Society’s all a disease
Kill all your fear in your sleep
Cause everything’s born in a dream
Breathe in insanity’s grip
Words from insanity’s lips
Falling from sanity’s cliff
Watching your vanity slip
No more falling to pressure
No more failing acceptance
Throw all your hells towards the heavens
Cause your voice is a weapon
[Hook: Bastille]
And your voice is a weapon
And we’ll do with it what we can
And your voice is a weapon
And we’ll do with it what we can
I’ll fall into your arms again
I’ll fall into your arms again
I’ll fall into your arms again
I’ll fall into your arms
Bridge: Angel Haze & Bastille]
Pressure that deepen the cut
When will the evil erupt?
Volcanic feverish lust
That shit will even it out
Pressure is feeding the dust
Reckless is keeping the cut
Vengeance is me speaking up
This is me speaking up
And your voice is a weapon
This is vocal confession
And we're shooting you down, down, down
And your voice is a weapon
This is vocal confession
And we’re shooting you down, down, down
[Hook: Bastille]
And your voice is a weapon
And we’ll do with it what we can
And your voice is a weapon
And we’ll do with it what we can
I’ll fall into your arms again
I’ll fall into your arms again
I’ll fall into your arms again
I’ll fall into your arms
[Hook: Bastille]
And your voice is a weapon
And we’ll do with it what we can
And your voice is a weapon
And we’ll do with it what we can
I’ll fall into your arms again
I’ll fall into your arms again
I’ll fall into your arms again
I’ll fall into your arms
[Coda: F*U*G*Z & Braque]
Choose your voice and etch that on your soul
Make them heard when crowds drown out your call
Leave behind your questions, silent thoughts, and mentions
The wake has to be left, so never falter
Your voice is a weapon
So do with it what you can
Your voice is a weapon
So do with it what you can
Leave behind your questions, silent thoughts, and mentions
Your voice is a weapon
So do with it what you can
[Outro]
I like that Bastille is experimenting with their sound and seeing what they can do with their talents instead of sticking to just one thing to keep their normal audience happy. The more they try out different things, the more they learn and the better their music will be in general. I don't like rap but to me this wasn't that bad, just not to my personal taste. People learn and grow from experience so it's annoying when fans complain and don't give a band/artist opportunity to do so :/
Dan just wouldn't give a fuck and do it anyway, regardless of what the fans say. Let's face it, the band could have no fans at all and they would still make music.
Absol"RandomCat"ZoeyART True, that's what makes them (and other artists who have a real passion for what they do) so awesome :)
***** Yes, exactly. xD
Wtf. Y'all should appreciate Angel Haze talent. Incredible artist and everyone should listen to her other stuff to take time to listen to her powerful lyrics. I'm glad her and Dan are such good friends. YOU GO ANGEL HAZE!
+ 1 !
Anir Bahori Indeed such a great talent!.
THANK YOU! If I could give you a hundred likes, I would!
she is much better than a lot of rappers I have heard
@@LukePenning she can keep up with the awful rap but doesn't have talent like you're swelling her head blowing smoke up her butt. She's wasting her talent.
Dear lord
this is the stuff he did before the stuff everyone hears now
so if anything
this is his original style
along with songs like flaws, alchemy, irreverence
I don't understand why anyone would label Angel Haze as "some shitty rapper." Have you even heard any of her other collaborations? Her lyrics are pretty meaningful (like Bastille?)
And for the people with the " don't collab with people " comments: they have always collaborated with other artists in their mixtapes, it isn't some sudden change? On the first two mixtapes they collabed with various artists such as Maiday, Barnaby Keen Band, Rory Andrew, Jonas Jalhay, F Stokes, the lead singer of To Kill A King (Ralph), ...did I make my point?
I’m late but sia as well
I hate how whenever an artist makes a song that sounds *slightly* different, people go batshit and all this negativity piles in.
You get it, thank you. It's not THAT bad though. It's quite catchy.
yes! and OPH has ALWAYS been this way. I love that they use rappers it's refreshing.
Diana Santos I agree. I like the song all the same.
Yes, because they shelve single songs.
I've been waiting for this for ages (ever since I heard it during Cohellas live performance) !!! LOVE IT!! Can't wait for VS to be out!
Personally, I'd love to see Angel Haze in a lot more in the their stuff because when they collaborate, it's almost guaranteed that the music is gonna be fantastic.
I just stumbled on this song because a friend had this on their playlist on tumblr and fuck a truck I am in love with this, it is absolutely amazing
I agree it is amazing
This song is really amazing
I love it! I think Angel Haze's voice perfect suit with Dan voice
i'm absolutely loving this omg it sounded great live and even better that they've changed it up a bit, oph3 is sounding so good up to now! one thing thats a bit annoying about oph3 though is that they arn't releasing it for a free download lol me being cheap but the other two were free so what's changed? is it just because they're more popular now?
The strings at the beginning are so beautiful. All around great job bastille :)
Oh well
I honestly love this song so much. Cause well, angel haze is bae, dan is bae, woody is bae, will is bae, kyle is bae
In other notes, i miss bastille so much omg
Same
Wow, this song will be 1 year old in 2 days! It makes me aware that even a single word can be a weapon and change everything. Thank you so much Bastille!
+Magda Kuś two years now 2016
older now
yeah, it's really surprising that time goes by
I really am in love with the new songs.
"other people's heartache"
"other people"
>not bastille's
chillax
ayy lmao well played
exactly! so good
I expected a lot worse judging from the comments. I actually love this a lot. Everyone complaining needs to relax...
This song is fucking gold. Goes so hard i literally cannot feel my arms. Angel Haze KILLS IT
Holy shit this is amazing! And however is the mixing engineer is amazing, the balance at the beginning is so good!!!!
chill out people. mixtapes are about experimenting, bastille are trying out new things, maybe to adopt some, maybe not. that doesn't mean their actual album will be anything like this. i personally think it's so different but i quite enjoy it!
This is INSANELY awesome and brilliant !! Love Bastille and Angel Haze so much. Their music is so diverse and shows that they won't be entitled to just one genre ! Keep it up guys! Love you !
EVERYONE. THIS IS FROM A MIXTAPE AND NOT THE NEXT BASTILLE ALBUM. WHY ARE PEOPLE STRUGGLING SO MUCH TO UNDERSTAND THIS.
Don't flip shit yet.
i actually really liked it, the rapping is different but im gonna write "your voice is a weapon" on frickin everything
Bastille + Angel Haze = The best song ever.
I've been waiting to hear a recorded version of this song since I heard it at Coachella! I'm so proud of Bastille for continuing to not put themselves in a certain niche and taking the chance to explore more of their influences - I think it's turning out fucking amazing!
This is soo amazing! Thank you Bastille! :D
I love how most of the people who hate this say 'I love bastille'. If you loved the band you would know that bastille has produced 3 different mixtapes and its just another way to express their creativity and collaborate with other artists on songs that wouldnt fit into their albums.
I Like it. I like the mixture of many genre's Rap/Rock/Electronic/tiny Soul at the end. I like the beat. I like the story. IT IS A GOOD SONG.
Why is no one talking about Angel Haze and the fact she isn't even famous? Support artists, especially if they are supports up and coming artists too!
Angel Haze deserves the world!!!
Everyone, just accept the changes? It's still Bastille, they're still the same band, and I still love their music. They're experimenting, this is a mixtape. Maybe there will be a version without rap, who knows. Torn apart also has a version without the rap?
IM CRYING THIS IS PERFECTION????!?
I don't think you people understand the point of the Other People's Heartache series of albums.. It's all experimentation. I highly doubt their 2nd full album will be much like the songs on here.
Por que las canciones de Bastille son todas hermosas? Los amo ♡
Love how diverse this album is so far 😻
There's so much contrat with Dan's voice and the rap. It's amazing. I love all Bastille's songs.
(can't wait for the Haim song with them)
There was rap in past albums, like "Basement" in OPH 2... So why are you complaining now?? Btw, this is truly amazing!!
DAN YOUR VOICE IS A WEAPON
I'm seeing a lot of comments dissing Angel Haze. Which is fine, it's your opinion. But I beg you, if you have the chance to experience this song live, fucking TAKE IT. Angel kills it. Absolutely slaughters it until everyone is just puddles on the floor. The recorded version is okay, but I think the live version is way more wicked.
SOOOOO true!!!!!!!!!!!
angel haze is great
When I first listened to this I really didn't like it, but coming back to it now I don't know how I didn't hear how AWESOME it is! I'd love to see a good street dance crew do something with this, it could be amazing!
I'm crazy surprised Mockingjay didn't try to use this in the trailers. Would have been perfect.
OTHER PEOPLE'S HEARTACHE PT.III :
▶TRACKLISTING ◀
1. Fall Into Your Arms (Bastille vs The Gemma Sharples Quartet)
2. Bite Down (Bastille vs HAIM)
3. bad_news (Bastille vs MNEK)
4. The Driver
5. Axe To Grind (Bastille vs Tyde vs. Rationale)
6. Torn Apart (Bastille vs Grades vs. Lizzo)
7. Weapon (Bastille vs Angel Haze vs. F-U-G-Z vs Braque)
And I listened a few times now and I like it more and more :)
FINALLY! I've waited for a studio version ever since I saw them perform this live! Go Angel Haze!
Personally, I'm pretty neutral when it comes to whether or not I like the song. Rep isn't particularly my cup of tea but I do like the song. This isn't my favourite Bastille song ever but I most certainly don't hate it.
Sorry I meant rap.
Incredible! Gave me shivers and made me weak at the knees! Dan's voice is just wonderful
stop hating on Angel. She kills this in person. its fucking amazing
Such a jam, the bass is crazy. love love
ITS A MIXTAPE, BASTILLE ISNT IS CHANGING THEIR STYLE. Please, stop with coments like "Please stop with rap", "Dan Smith's Ruined by some crappy rapper" and more.
I'm sorry but i love this song it sounds like previously on other people heartache mixtape !!! This is what I love about Bastille they can sound amazing in whatever they do... #Stormer4life
Have yawl not heard OPH P I and II? There's more rap in those than anything. Bastille isn't changing their sound it's always been this way in OPH
I think it's awesome that Bastille is experimenting. This is a mixtape, and it's always cool to explore other genres and sounds. Good on them.
Very relevant for the time being. BLM use your voices
Other People's Heartache mixtapes are always my favourite from Bastille and this certainly doesn't disappoint ♥
BASTILLE MERECE MUITO MAIS ATENÇÃO DO MUNDO
SIIIIEEEEEMMMMMM
eu sempre pensei o mesmo . Mas os brasileiros não valorizam esse estilo foda de música :(
BASTILLE E MT FODA MEUUUUUUUUUUU
(๏ᴥ๏)
Bastille has been doing this the whole time they've been a band with Other People's Headache I and II. They obviously like to experiment as side work. You don't have to like it but it's not taking away from their "normal" sound/albums they will come out with in the future.
i love it !
they should upload another version without the rap
I love Bastille so much. His music is so unique and I love his style of music.
It's a band, not only one guy.
lol
To be fair, most time since Dan does all writing, composing and is an amazing front man its an easy mistake for those who dont closely follow bastille and come across the covers/mixtapes
I love it, but Dan's voice miss a lot it wasn't necessary the effects in his voice, it would be a great song like ever, but by the rest I prefer live version
Same here! I love the beginning of the live version. But this is still awesome!
Ayla Leppers Yes I'm agree with you, but it's a little sad for his voice :c
It popped into my head an I fckin found it ❤ such a banger many moons since I've heard this ✌
K-Project AMV :3
me too! :)
^w^
Koray Çetiner its so addicting lol
Koray Çetiner Same reason!😂😍👍
I love this, its new and refreshing. Love the diversity between their songs, it truly shows they don't consider themselves in a certain genre. Amazing :)
in dan's voice is a weapon...
Woa this is 🔥
Now while I can appreciate that they are trying different styles of music while integrating their own style, I hope that their actual album is nothing like this. I'm not really into rap. Don't get me wrong I LOVE Bastille and love them for being different and trying new things.
I agree :)
Yeah I hope they will try new things but not....... rap... I do not enjoy the sound of this rappers voice, quite obnoxious
As long as they're happy, then what else matters ^_^
i love this! i think everyone sounds great, especially after listening to the live version with poorer audio for so long. thanks for all the hard work that went into this song. can't wait for the mixtape release! x
I love this song but I was hoping they'd release a version without the rap.
There'd be nothing to the song without the rap tho
Loved this in Manchester! Love it again.
Sounds like a song that should be on the fifa soundtrack
I love angel haze's part but not the dude's ://
Dumbass
Dylan Pijper did you seriously fucking think I was talking about Dan, you fucker???? hell no, I was talking about Braque so take that shit somewhere else
***** same goes to you ^^^^
