"...in the age of noise" for string trio by Andrea Casarrubios (b.1988)
...in the age of noise (2020) for string trio was premiered online during the lockdown in Philadelphia by members of the Dover and Escher String Quartets. This short piece was commissioned by Manhattan Chamber Players for a project called "MCP's Sketchbook: Quarantine Art in the Making." The opening gestures are like breaths, and silence is one of the music's main elements in this work.
...in the age of noise (2020) para violín, viola y violonchelo fue estrenado por miembros de los cuartetos Dover y Escher en Philadelphia. Esta pieza fue encargada por Manhattan Chamber Players para su proyecto "MCP's Sketchbook: Quarantine Art in the Making". Los sonidos del comienzo, semejantes a una respiración, contienen momentos de silencio que es uno de los elementos más importantes de esta obra.
