Great video. I have Remus on another car and really happy with the quality and sound. However, I was leaning towards Akrapovic for the M140i. After watching this, think I will go Remus 👍
saw you last year Reg at the berry chiswick meet and then ace cafe. car sounds great. looking to get an m140 next year and of course take it to the ring. let me know if you go next year too!

After two months it's probably the video which make me choose the Remus non res ! THANKS ! The sound is not too loud in comfort & sport ? it seems to have less burble when reving no ?
Joan Keller No worries at-all. Glad it’s helped you make your mind up. It’s very subtle in comfort, with hardly any pops or bangs. Minimal drone too. You’ll love it!!
Sounds amazing! Is the drone bad though when your cruising on the freeway seeming it doesn't have a resonator??
Absolutely no drone when cruising at 60/70mph.. not that I can notice! It has both ressonators deleted 😎

I love my M140i, but I am more into the sleeper look, and surprising ppl with the remapped extra power, while it still looks & sounds standard.
So, this exhaust is too loud for me. But, if you like it, then fair play to you.
How Loud is is it in the inside in Comfort?
Resonator delete? Only muffler?
Love your dedication to doing this video by driving all the way to Germany. Have to say it has a hint of a 5 cylinder sound at low revs
Zain K it was a lovely drive! Well worth it. Managed to get a few laps on the Nurburgring too, which was fun. I actually think it sounds a little bit like a strait piped turbo diesel 6 cylinder at low revs 😂
@@roadreg1820 if you listen to a RS3 it sounds a little similar at low revs. Nice 'hybrid' sound. Drive safe 👍

Is it resonated or non resonated? Love the sound. Thinking of getting one installed.
THE PoWeR MURPHY it’s non resonated. You won’t regret it. It’s loud and aggressive when you want it to be and with a flick of a switch (comfort mode) it’s just a normal ‘M car’ in its normal mode, as it uses the original valve.

How much is the difference in loudness when driving normally? In my country this exhaust is not approved but as long as its not crazy loud I should be fine.
Jrv200008 Ok, so in comfort, you can’t notice it when cruising; it’s super refined. Obviously if you go full out full throttle in comfort it will be slightly louder but when cruising you won’t notice it. No drone ! You should go for it. Keep me posted.
@@roadreg1820 Thanks for the reply. If I go for it it will be after 18 months because thats how long my warranty lasts from now on. Also considering just getting one of the mid mufflers deleted, so much cheaper than a full system. But the non-res Remus definetly sounds epic. Good video!
Just wondering why would DSC change the sound of your exhaust? Any reason why you did that exhaust note?

It’s causes more farts when revving for some reason. A known trick with the 140
Yes it opens up the exhaust valve fully whereas I believe it only opens it to around 75% even in sport+. Don't quote me on that, that's just what another TH-camr said but it definitely opens the exhaust valve more

I have the same Exhaust and did some Draggy runs before and after multiple times on the same road and conditions 30-70mph in 3rd and times were identical so no real performance gains, just better sound. Change the Cat for power, stock system can flow big power 600+hp

what does DSC OFF do???
Completely disables all traction control. For some reason it seems to make the exhaust sound a little louder too. Not sure why tbh!
