Amazon is easy in the sense that it’s straight forward basic work, but nothin’ east about working on your feet for 10 hrs, with short ass breaks, and working during the exact opposite time of day that you’re use to working..

  • @anonymoushuman8443

I’m quitting too. There’s barely any training and the managers are yelling at workers for making mistakes or annoying workers and sending them messages to work faster. The atmosphere is too depressing. The people who work there are unfriendly and looked pissed off at you when you walk by them.

It's all psychological manipulation. Make no mistake, if the managers aren't aware of what they're doing, upper management certainly does.

Amazon deceitful ASF!!! Once I found out about those stow rates and us having to work MULTIPLE work stations at the same time while STILL having to keep high rates, I wanted to run like my house on fire. Amazon dead wrong for that bs and they know it.

Warehouse work is not for everyone ESPECIALLY when you have two jobs. I was able to do it only because I cant stand office jobs, so I would have a good balance between labor and sitting. Eventually I lost my job due to COVID at the office but I still had Amazon. I love it, got cross trained in a lot of places bc the repetition bores me.
If theres one thing I can say: Amazon orientation is the most unorganized portion when starting. Easy money but it takes forever by the time they actually train you!

I’m at AMZN now (sortation); I like it because I’m retired; old people love b/c it supplement income and it’s not a threat to be released; they’re in reduced housing anyway, living alone with no social life and it beats playing bingo; they do try to match u with what old ppl can do; but I’m a peppy older person and love it; scanning (pick off is challenging), but u don’t have to say much, it’s pretty much: take this from here, do this to it, now place it here. I’ll tell you one thing, I bet you have more respect for getting your pkg if you order from AMZN knowing what ppl go thru to get it to u (I do anyway); loved your comment and I ❤️VTO.

Word! Loved your video. Some of the ambassadors feel they need to assert themselves in a way that shows management they can manage(more like handle) people. As a current employee, I’ll give my perspective. I just became an L3 learning trainer but I was a picker (L1) for a little over a year. Alicia was a stower who placed items into the pod. A picker is the person that actually picks the orders that are to be sent to induct, packing, and then to the customer. For the people that are just starting, it is a job that is very taxing on the body. It’s not only just the physical work but the hours combined with it that makes it tough. After a while, (2-4 weeks) you start to get used to doing the work. I’m not going to say that your feet and legs don’t continue to hurt after a 10/12 hour shift, but you learn to deal with it. Like she said, if you have a 9-5 already and make good money there, keep it. Amazon is a production based business and it will be expected from day 1/2….. Hang in there! You’ll be alright. There will be times people come up to you with feedback(often). Just receive it and continue working. Go home and enjoy your paycheck! Good luck!

Many people that have worked as amazon drivers have quit, and it's understandable why so many amazon drivers quit. Lots of amazon delivery drivers that quit are hard workers, have a great work ethic, are great employees, are in great physical shape, etc.
Many amazon delivery drivers quit since they constantly feel pressured and rushed to make 200 stops per day and make 20 stops per hour. At Amazon, many drivers have to make 200 stops per day and 20 stops per hour, and they're being monitored to make sure they're making 200 stops per day and 20 stops per hour. There's lots of circumstances that occur that make it hard or even impossible to make 200 stops per day and 20 stops per hour such as traffic jams, detours, rainy conditions, delivering several packages to apartment complexes, customers asking questions about packages, etc. Many amazon delivery drivers urinate in cups on the side of the road due to fearing that if they stop somewhere to use the bathroom, they won't be able to make 200 stops per day and 20 stops per hour. Many amazon delivery drivers skip their breaks, run stop signs, run red lights, etc due to feeling rushed and pressured to make 200 stops per day and 20 stops per hour.

U run a stop sign or light you’re fked so don’t lie. They will let u know real quick.
Second, it’s not 20 an hour, I easily do 30 for apartments and up too 45 for easier routes and I walk.
Peeing im bottles is part of delivery jobs like this. Fedex and ups all do it. Get over it. You’re not going too die.
Many ppl quit because they come in thinking this jobs easy, you get too blast music and walk too houses and drive in ac all day… what a dream job right… you need to have a very good work ethic or you’re not going too make it, no one’s going too hold your hand to teach you to be more efficient.
This is one of the easiest jobs I have, I catch up on podcasts and hbomax movies with my third phone ok it’s own elbow. I use my xtra time I saved too do some quick groceries before I head back too rts.

Job is easy once you learn it
      Money is great
Like a workout with all the bending, squatting, and lifting sometimes really heavy merchandise
      Those are my pros
      The Cons- Long ass shifts
Intense and tedious if you “picking” only (still tolerable if you ask me)
Breaks are garbage 2 20 min breaks and a 30 min to eat🤦🏾‍♂️ takes 5-7 mins alone just to get to my car 10 to start eating if i have to go to the break room and grab my food outta the fridge
Basically a robot because thats the job work, work, and work
No time to get to know anyone so i just stay to myself
I say “self, you’re here to make that money and provide for you and yours.”
Physically demanding on the body so its not for everyone. Takes alot of tenacity.

I only took it as a second job to get out the house and meet people since I been working from home the last 8 years and the money was gon be a plus too, but F that she said it all in the video it’s hard ASF on your body. The atmosphere is also just sad especially when going on break and everyone just so quiet because they have to be six feet apart at all times. I think they should at least let people listen to music. I was in packing Sun-Wd 630-5am and packing wasn’t hard just hard on your body. All props and respect to those that have to work that job.
