Way to support your new club. I got into flying my first RC aircraft in the back woods of an army base. I showed up religiously for weeks just to watch an aged man who’s name escapes me fly a Tower Trainer 40. After only a few weeks of touch and go’s, he gave me the whole setup and one more week of starting and care of the equipment and I was on my on. I never saw him again. It was the greatest lessons in the hobby that I try to remember to pay forward.
It's an unfortunate part of the culture of a lot of RC clubs. Gatekeeping the hobby and then wondering why no one joins their clubs. It's our goal to help change that and to support clubs that push a welcoming culture. 💙
This is a such a fun channel, I picked up a Turbo Timber Evo because of your backyard STOL videos. I spent five 4S 2200mah batteries on my Spitfire and Turbo Timber Evo yesterday morning practicing what I had seen on your landing, rudder, and take-off videos, it was a great time - I should re-watch your training videos...
Quality video, this is the kind of rc content that every one like. Cannot wait for more. I began flying in a venue like this, and prefer this kind of setting. The trees give you some landmarks, and when flying in a open field it really feels disorienting. Though not the best place to fly a fast plane which cover ground quickly.
Thank you! I'm no Jase the Ace but still have fun crashing trying new 3D things for sure! 😁We will definitely be doing more videos with 3D flying especially once Ben has moved out here. -Zach
Because of the two places where I fly, my own property and the club field, are pretty much surrounded by trees it seems I do more crashing into the trees than I do crashing into the ground. I'd feel right at home at that club as I've become an expert at "tree" landings. 😊
Sir . We all go through that. Funny , not to discourage you, yet there are probably 20 or 30 in the trees at my R/C club. Lost at least 20 of my collection of 535 Planes at my field. SUKZ. Hope you do not have a 5G Cell Phone Tower there. Zaps our planes as we try to land. Lost 50 + with other members of my club in the last 4 months. Yet Never Give up, Keep the faith. arrgh.
Great entertaining video and channel! Were you my night-flying paramotor buddy at Flite Fest 2021? I was flying the led lit blue and white Hobbyking trike paramotor.
Unfortunately, that's more of an apples to oranges question. The RV-8 60e is an amazing flying larger foamy with a very low wing loading for it's size making it "floaty" but also capable of what I would consider "slow/low inertia" 3D, even with the full span ailerons. It's a great plane for folks who are fans of putting around but also want to have the ability to thrash it around 3D every once in a while, too. It's the plane that really got my confidence up with a lot of the harder maneuvers such as low to the ground rolling harriers and such. The QQCap 232 EX, on the other hand, is a plane that is designed and meant solely for 3D, and it more than delivers. It also has a great high efficiency motor set up that allows for easily 6-7 minutes of hard 3D when paired with the 6s 5000mah, or 4-5 minutes on a 3300mah for a lighter/floatier feel. It all comes down to what your mission is. The RV-8 is more of an all arounder, whereas the Cap is mission designed. -Zach
@@TailHeavyProductions Thanks for the reply! Love the channel, the subs will come. You should do a collab with rctestflight, I’ve seen you in some of his vids!

The Dunkin' Donuts plugs at the beginning were a funny little addition 😂
Thats why I steered clear of that FW, haha. Good luck over there man.
The mustang just looks better anyways. Let's fly John 👊😎🤘
All about the added challenge! Adds to the fun.😁 -Zach
This is probably one of the best RC channels on youtube right now. Keep it up, ❤❤🛬🛬
I agree, yet there a lot of We R/C Pilots all around the USA. Enjoy Arrgh. CRCS Charleston Radio Control Society, South Carolina.
Those slow rolls with the 190 were really good!

Wow! You really flew that 190 well! I enjoyed watching, thank you.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.
the scream at 2:57 tho, Great video as always, thanks for sharing :)
When you said, "Are you a member? you can't fly that here." I felt that.

Yes there are too many unpleasant unwelcoming flyers in the hobby that turn people away.

I love your guy's vids ☺️☺️☺️☺️
in general, after owning a few foam warbirds, warbirds "needs" to be built in balsa-wood to get the proper feeling and flight characteristics.
