Wow. Outstanding product and great review. I'll have to watch it a second time because of so many features and options, it's like a multi men station for one guy. All those tricks are so much time saving. I read some people complain it's not bright enough but who would edit on this device or even a laptop outside under the sun. This is perfect for podcast (when recording videos), live streaming (concerts, sunday morning church with multi cam set up, and youtube live streaming ; i wish i heard about this few years ago... Would have same me so many efforts, but now i know). Amazing review Cole🎉🎉🎉
Bruh this is a rebranded Magewell Director Mini. I've been making money with one for almost a year now. I have had very good experience with my Magewell.
Fantastic presentation and more importantly great detailed information.. I fully agree with your sentiments regarding the live space being the future. Really intrigued to see what else is to come. Great work as per usual ❤. This monitor looks really intriguing 😮😅
Thank you brother. Yes definitely hitting big and love what you're doing in that space. You could make a whole channel on this. Most streamers are in their rooms but you're actually on location.
I love how simple the GUI is and how much functionality it offers, im actually suprised now seeing it in action. There is so much options regarding I/O
Hi, I saw that you connected the Talent USB-C output to the monitor, did you use a USB-C to HDMI adapter? Could you kindly tell me what model and brand you used? I have an Obsbot USB-C to HDMI converter but I don't know why it doesn't work with Talent.
This is fantastic, the functionality is only muted by its weak 350nits screen. This should be a minimum of 1000nits, with a higher refresh rate. Unfrotunelty it comes across on the video as well. The screen doesn't need to be perfect but it should be at least on the same level as modern camera monitor technology. I could see myself buying this for some osbots. But I wouldn't be happy with the quality of the video from the switcher.
Hi, I do agree there. IRL it looks very bright and high quality but at least 600 nits would have been great. I think it's intended to be used inside but it's always better to have a high nit screen without a doubt.
Great video! Could this monitor/recorder/switcher work as a playback solution for the EOSM (record raw to the EOSM SD card and record the low quality EOSM video signal to the monitor recorder for on-set playback)? If so, I will get this (or something like it) as soon as the EOSM dual mount is released. Can't wait to shoot M4/3 cine lenses with M4/3 ML crops!
Dual mount video this weekend for sure!!! I guess you could record into the Eos-M but the price is high unless you need it to stream. The best option for you is the SuiKui RH35.
@@janiswestphal7197 Atem definitely has it's uses but to be able to record, see screen etc you still need other equipment to go with it. Also the PTZ controls here are also a big bonus.
Film & Broadcast will always be separated and, won't replace the film industry. More bridges in the industry mean more work, especially for indie productions and freelance filmmakers.
It's actually just over £900 at the moment. And
Sorry I forgot to flip the image on the football match. Amateurs 😅
Looks great but the osee duet/deck does everything the talent does for a fraction of the cost.
@@inspiredsrc I'll look that up, thank you 🙌🏾

@@not0evn Good to hear it's served you well.
Yes it says 'POWERED BY MAGEWELL" When you turn it on but it does have features for Obsbot Tail Air cams.
Came down to the comments to say this! Really lovely product from Magewell
So many ports and functionality! This is great!
It's insane man. I wish it could record 4k internally (forgot to say in the video) but that would be a game changer for me.
Thanks man
NICE! Crazy that everything is in the one monitor - literally a life saver for streamers!
Nice demonstration as well.
@@MondoCheapo yeah it'll definitely simplify this channel going forward. No more editing lol
Wow!!! this thing looks incredible!❤ Can't wait to see more videos of how you are going to use it with streaming cameras!
Thanks Adrian. I'm still working out the best way to go live on this channel but I'm confident with it now.

Great video, Cole!

Very cool! Such a good livestream solution. Definitely considering getting one for next time my work wants livestreams.
Thank you Alex, very cool device. Truth is...I can't wait to hook up all the Blackmagics 😅

I managed with a 10 euro USB-C to HDMI adapter to make it work.
looks really good.. 😮
@@cai1000 Your next purchase for your channel?
Love this, how different is it from the director mini? Great review as always
Thank you brother. It's powered by Magewell and looks extremely similar.
Hopefully we can catch up soon and do a comparison.
Great overview!
Thank you so much. I watched your video earlier 🙌🏾

I wonder if there's any (reliable and functionl) software/apps that can do all of this from a laptop
Obsbot have a apps for Mac & windows but only works with Obsbot cams. Would be amazing for other cams though.
I think the closest you'll get is OBS
