Looking forward to your video on Col. George Chinn. I remember meeting him and his wife Cotton when I was ten years old. He was a friend of the Goforth family of Brooklyn, KY. Another friend was Bill Champion from Mercer County.

My family helped to settle Harrodsburg. This was on my father's side of the family. Patrick Hourigan's wedding is recorded on page 2 of the first deed book. His long rifle has been passed down through the generations. My son will receive it once I have gone to be with the Lord. Also, I was always told that my, how every many great grandmothers (not sure how many greats...lol) Hurley used to knit Daniel Boones stockings. Hurely is my middle name. Apparently, Patrick Hourigan and Boone were friends and even hunted together. My aunt and uncle lived in Harrodsburg most of their lives, Elmer and Grace Leonard. I wished I had listened more closely when I was growing up stories were told. Thanks for the video. I hope I have added a little something here.

This was a great video! So informative for such a short little video. I never knew about the name change or the row houses. Very cool!

Any thoughts on doing a piece on the Moses Jones house? My family lived there in the houses history. I really appreciate all the Kentucky history.
