Thank You very very much, enjoyed the way your voice is nice and you enjoy sharing and all the time was great to learn, Use to come to this special town as a small child visited Grand Parents the whole summer and went to the old Fort.differnt times treasures for me went to Shaker town 😊😊 Thank You Again for the. Neat Walk😊
Thank-you for the walk around Harrodsburg. Your commentary really makes these videos special. It not only provides context to the places you visit, but also brings history alive. Quite a contrast between the frontier fort and the main street of brick buildings.
Great video! I have watched some drive around videos on other channels but your walking and narrating is almost like being there. Harrodsburg is quite a nice town. The churches, stores and Main Street are so much Americana. Interesting point on Route 127 being the longest yard sale stretching 5 states you mentioned. I have heard about that amazing yard sale and would very much like to see some of it some day. Nice job! Keep up the good work!
Amazing video❤️❤️!! I’ve been raised in Harrodsburg, and Harrodsburg is decent place to visit and possible to ‘stay’. There’s not much to do there, the only mall we’ve got is a Walmart. Since there’s nothing to do there, I find myself ether going to parks or chilling at downtown mini waterfall fountain. The only complaint I have with Harrodsburg is the train and lack of entertainment business or something to attract tourists and residents. If anyone who experienced the long and dreadful waiting period for the train to pass, we’ll imagine having to listen and wait for it to pass. I swear it nightmare waking up in the morning and getting stuck in a long line because of the train, and it’s worst if have to drop off your kid or work. This is because the train surround the place, I believe that the train passes by 4-7time in a day. Hey “bit of a wander” if you ever do another tour again at Harrodsburg, I would recommend showing young’s park, Beaumont inn, shaker village, Abe Lincoln cabin. There’s some interesting history. Keep it up what you doing!!
Thank you for featuring Harrodsburg. Would have been nice if you had shown the Big Spring which was the reason they settled here. Also, wish you had shown more of Main Street. If I were to make a suggestion, it would be a good idea to do your research before you film.
I appreciate the feedback Frances! I tend to not research too much, as the channel is focused on exploring and discovering new places - but I definitely appreciate your point of view and thoughts on the video!!!!
No not really. Not an active preserved town like you’re talking about. Shaker Village is probably the best preserved old town, but it’s an outdoor museum. Lots of towns with historic sections, but nothing ‘whole’ like you’re talking about.

My birth place. Enjoyed the video of historic Harrodsburg.

Thanks as always! Next up is a cool one - we are going to walk across a really high suspension bridge in Gatlinburg, TN!
Thanks for showing us the town. I have an ancestor who helped start the town. I want to go there one day.
Oh wow!
My mother grew up there they have a play about Daniel Boon at the fort every year. I saw it once when I was a kid.
Thanks for the walk. I do enjoy these small towns, and your narration is appreciated. Looking forward to more.
Thanks Tom! Much appreciated
It is a quiet and lovely town and is very good to have a walk aimlessly. Thanks for the walk Wander!

Hey Thanks for walking with me!
I believe the fort is larger than the one I used to see. I believe the park has expanded, too. Thanks for the great video gour.

✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
Your video is of high quality. I am your fan.
Terrible to see all the losses in the town of Mayfield. The town will never be the same. Have been to Harrodsburg a couple of times. Great video.
Totally agree - so sad
Amazing video❤️❤️!!

@@ThePerfectWalk I get that but by not researching, you are in some ways doing an injustice to not only the town but to the viewer as well.
I live in Harrodsburg it sucks there’s nothing to do
But shaker village Shawnee run is a really great hiking trail
If you go farther out to the fairgrounds, you'll find a grave of an unknown girl. Her story is similar to Resurrection Mary from Justice IL.
Oh wow thx for that info! And thx for watching!
Is tgeee a town in Kentucky still like old days still as the same today horses food etc

You missed the historical cemetery
Doh! Sorry!!!!
I used to live there
there is literally nothing there lol
I guess that depends on your perspective
Supposedly the very first city of Kentucky.. doesn’t really look anymore historical then other old cities/towns
