Ghanaians more hospitable than Ivorians ??? Are you joking ?? Ivory Coast is the most hospitable and friendly country in the whole Africa. Nobody can deny it

@@EfyaKimora do researches or ask about it to Ghanaians who live in Ivory coast. I faced the same situation in Ghana six years ago but it’s not enough to argue that Ghana people are not friendly

No way ivory coast is not the most hospitable. Why make ghanaians pay 1000.

Ivory has, if not the highest, foreigners population in the world today. Between 27 and 30%. Ghanéens have even almost a small town on their own. If you go to zion in marcory honnestly you will be living in Ghana. I just think sometimes 2 or 3 weeks might not be enough to appreciate that the country is so open. Please do come a few times, maybe then you will get used to it a bit more.

The girls who sell food at 9:21 are Malian people if I am not mistaken, because I already bought food with them. Except them, the Ivoirians are very opened minded and smiling people.

You are wrong saying Ivorian are not friendly. This is the only country in West Africa where people don't make any difference between them and foreigners which is not the case in Ghana. Even abroad when you see a Ghanaian at work place the first thing he asks is if you are Ghanaian if not he got nothing to do with you. They are very community oriented and give more attention to a Nigerian or Kenyan than an Ivorian who share border and many cultures.

I can say that in ivory coast, people pay lot of attention to the way you look. Sorry for your travel companion, but in ivory coast dreads are synonymous of drug use, that was one reason he had some trouble. So don't be so sensitive and generalize. Also Gbaka drivers are known to be impatient, arguing with them is a waste of time. they have a daily quotas to meet, that's why many people don't use them. Apart from that, if you live in poor areas you will encounter troubled individuals and they may not even be from ivory coast. Don't forget the country has unofficially around 30% foreigners.

Well i'm ivorian and i passed the border by car as well. From the ghanean side we had at least 20 checkpoints from accra to Noe and we ivorians had to pay at at least 10 of them. I wonder why u didnt talk abt that.
You're one of the few ppl that do not find ivorians welcoming/warm. Cote d'Ivoire has 25% of immigration. I dont think people would stay for many generations if ivorians were not friendly or at least tolerant towards foreigners.

Comment section is very harsh on her. Guy calm down. This is her experience. She also said some good experiences regarding her stay in Abidjan. She wasn’t even rude. I visited France and they are rude in France 🇫🇷 for you can’t express yourself in French fluently. They are impatient and expect you as a visitor to know French when visiting. They also smoke heavily in France and are unfriendly too.
Stop bashing her and take it on and next time you see a foreigner who is in your lovely country, struggling to communicate with you in French, just have some patience and tolerate the person for a few Minutes and be FRIENDLY

You will b shocked if u hear what most Ivorians who went to Ghana say about Ghanians including ur security forces. Even on national tv, people complained about Ghana immigration policy which is in breach of free movement of people as Ghana requires residency permit (very expensive) to citizens of ecowas unlike Ivory Coast & others .

Sorry for what you faced in Abidjan. Next time you would like to visit Côte d'Ivoire, let me know and I will connect you to people who will make your trip and staying wonderful. Next time try also Yopougon or Cocody. I am an ivorian living in Ghana, Winneba. Anytime I cross the border, I have to pay at the Ghana immigration service. Police or immigration officers collecting money from traveller is unfortunatly one the big problem in Africa. I have been crossing some west Africa borders and it the same.

One thing I notice with some of our African Brothers or sisters, if someone say negative things about your countries you get in your feelings why🤷🏿‍♂️these countries where created by the French the British and so on, and beside its someone's experience 🤦🏿‍♂️ why not just say sorry my Sister or brother try this place instead or suggest places or a guide to show people around stop getting in your feelings its weak. Would you want people to be honest or tell you lies, use the negative comments to help improve our brothers and sister's experiences in your countries. Peace and love from a brother living in the UK I will be visiting Cote D Ivoire in January 2024 for the Cup of Nations🎉🎉 if someone would like to show me the best places to eat, have fun the beaches put a link in the comments I will be staying for 1 month.❤

A country with 30% of his population who are foreigners and you said that we're not friendly, because of that statement i did not give thumbs up to your video. We ivorian are known for our hospitality, do you know how many ivorian with Ghanian or senegalese , malians even Nigerian root there are in my country? and Saying our police has problem with Ghanian is non sens since we know that ii is the same in the western african countries. For me the first problem is the fact you don't speak but unfortunately during your stay you did not meet ivorians who speek english and they are many. I receive a lot of testemony from my people about your country which is not good , saying Ghanians don't love ivorians, ask to any ivorian i will saying the same thing heard from a friend of a relative.

Thank you for your vidéo. It's always good to get such a feedback
However, I would like to make some comments specially on the side of the immigration harassment. You know I think it's a common thing in the whole of the west African borders when you are not a national, you have to pay something (including in ghana)
Secondly the fact that some people seemed to be not friendly is because of the language barrier and that happens everywhere and I don't think there is any country in the world where 100% of the population will stop and listen to you specially if you don't speak the same language.
And the fact of having so many foreigner communities as you rightly said shows that Ivorians are friendly. But I agree a bit with you on the side of being impatient.
You should have stayed there for 1or 2 years to appreciate more and give an objective feedback about the behavior of Ivorians.
I lived in Ghana for few months but let me tell you the first weeks were not easy. But with time I really loved my stay.
    Thanks and keep continuing
