Hey Nas thanks a lot. I'm that village kid who has been trapped in this loop of being nice to everyone, actually that's how my parents want me to be. Being nice I couldn't say no to them, because of this I often end up in depression and regret my decisions. I'm hoping to find a way out of this loop without hurting my parents.

I'm one of those nice people. A high school student in Inida who just started his two year long preparation for a competitive exam. I am only able to get any acknowledgement from someone when I talk about their interests and get interested in what they want to talk about, and that includes my frineds. I tried to stop being nice and voice out my interests hoping that I would be listened to, but people immediately shut me off or just act uninterested when I start talking or even vaguely mentioning about things I like, because my interests are Obscue, Nerdy, and as they say "A topper doesn't have any other iterests than studying.'' I read a novel, they get wierded out by me 'studying' all the time. I talk about how a lesser known series I've watched has a good storyline, and everyone just looks at me disappointed and ask me why I had to bring boring, uninteresting, and studious topics. "Bro school is more than enough headache already.","You've talked so much today, don't you get dehydrated? Here, have some water." (This is what I hear whenever I start talking about the things I like, because they are, well, nerdy). This is what I get for trying to stop being nice. I've been consistently trying to act less nice towards all the old and new friends I've had since years, and now the bonds I had with my friends to whom I had always given a listening ear have been severed because I started asking for one as well. I now spent all of my day studying, and I have started to stop watching youtube or doing things that interest me. Then I would have no interests to talk about other than studying, and all the comments I get would be justified.
Don’t let anyone to make you feel bad about yourself I used to be nice to everyone but people took advantage of me but now I stopped being nice to everyone I try to be respectful but I am assertive and I’m much happier.

I've been nice for most of my life and surprisingly, it makes me feel unsatisfied. It is very hard to make others satisfied of us-like what Asian parents expected us to be nice to them. I've been scared of making people sad if I "no". To be honest, breaking the laws to widen people's minds should be legal, because we, the people, instead of making others feel good about us, why don't we accept to be "bad" for global progress, for a better life and for knowledge of the world? People hate nas for a reason, he tries to put in a positive attitude despite doing horrible things. At one point he was using a woman who was a tatoo artist just for the views. The tatoo artist said that she doesn't do it to other people who's not in their bloodline because they will be cursed but he did it anyway

Ive always been nice to people no matter what except situations when my self respect is at stake and get enraged sometimes but these days I've been trying to be nice to everyone not hurting any body sentiments but as u said being nice will be a bad thing to do bcoz everyone in ur life will just stamp,use and just throw into dustbin.its a gud lesson i learnt now

I've been nice for most of my life and surprisingly, it makes me feel unsatisfied. It is very hard to make others satisfied of us-like what Asian parents expected us to be nice to them. I've been scared of making people sad if I "no". To be honest, breaking the laws to widen people's minds should be legal, because we, the people, instead of making others feel good about us, why don't we accept to be "bad" for global progress, for a better life and for knowledge of the world?
Btw, it doesn't mean that you can be "not nice". Imagine when we severely misbehaved to our manager about an opinion - although it could change the entire company, the manager wouldn't care. This will make a bad impression of yourself to very, very many people. So, balance the "nice" and the "kind" in you.
I've to say, Nas has been really determined on making videos though the rules there prevented it. You don't really nice-instead, you're really kind to help people all over the world to know something they might don't know. Thank you, Nas, for your efforts and sacrifices in each video you made!
