- First look at the Neel 47, is it a mono, cat or Trimaran? Neel sail boat manufacture, have come on a long way over the last ten years, with a Marc Lombard design and excellent sailing experience we think they can only get better;)

You did a bang up job showing every nook and cranny unlike other youtubers who only gloss over what they think is important. You answered all of my questions. I am partial to the other layout tho.. but your walk thru is making me really think hard on which version to get. I will get a better idea at the boat show in Sept.

I am still unsure about these - for the money (and certainly the running cost of a slip) I wish they had a bit nicer finish to them. I get the idea of customizing those empty spaces... but not for the price of these boats. And by the way, please do share what you like and don't like!
Sometime next year we are testing a Neel and will be videoing it, all the good bad and ugly, so stay tuned;)
This must be a recent hull number. The older Neel 47 videos I remember had a slightly different interior. Perhaps I'm mistaken. The 47 is a nice yacht but my favorite in the Neel line is the 51. That boat is very well thought out and the room inside with access to all three hulls is just epic.
We had a good look at a Neel 51 this July, the owner was getting her ready to go around the world. A very impressive boat indeed, we think Neel has come on a long way over the last few years in build quality and is worth considering when looking for a multihull. Thanks for watching;)

It's a Trimaran sailboat has a center hull and two amass I've been researching tri's but the Neel for all it is doesn't show it's half million price tag in the finish.
Where is place for TV
Why are trimarans faster than catamarans if only two of the hulls are in the water anyway? In all of the videos I have seen of trimarans, only two of the hulls have been in the water when sailing fast.

Love the video, not a fan of the tri. After watching sailing yacht ruby rose's video on the Neel I could never trust the construction.
I think that particular Neel was rushed to make the boat show they attended. It would explain some of the subpar construction that was pointed out in their video. Seriously doubt every boat Neel manufactures is like that. I'm sure that video probably hurt Neel but it is by and large a successful company. I believe they've sold over 40 Neel 51 models. That's a lot of orders for a 50ft yacht.
@@jamesaron1967 your probably right but my point is they rushed the boat to make the show instead of finishing it right. Can't trust them not to rush a client boat just to get it out so they can start the next one.

My take: they sure have sold their soul to Seawind. Nothing wrong with that. They r smart fellows. But it is what it is as we say in North Carolina
Make no Mistake - Nick (Ruby Rose) purchased their cat from a company that operates out of a Communist Country! This alone, for me, is a deal breaker!
