The more consecutive games Ashley is present for, the more interesting Yasha becomes. She's doing a good job of showing her personality while still being consistent with the character that Travis and Matt can play while she is gone.
In one of the Talks Machinas an episode or two prior to this she mentioned she is trying to push Yasha's story extra hard while she was home for a few weeks. I'm thankful she did. She adds a great dynamic with the rest of the characters who are all comparatively.. rambunctious next to Yasha's reserved attitude. I like it.
Stacey Johnson how can you not see him doing that? He was petting the “Shadow wyvern” (I forgot the name) as it was being eaten alive by his celestial bugs, if thats not in some way cold blooded and/or the definition of a stone cold killer, then idk what is. He does it a lot too. People might see it as a sign of benevolence, but you gotta admit, that stuff right there is something a psycho killer would do to someone. “Shh shh, it’s ok it’s ok” as your being eaten alive by a swarm of bugs. In my opinion Atleast. I don’t mind, makes him an even more enjoyable character to watch being portrayed on the show.
I clicked play on this episode, then left it on in the background while I did some other stuff. Half an hour in, open up TH-cam as my main tab and see Sam Riegel as a tiger. For 30 minutes, I had no idea...
It's also recycling an old Hallowe'en costume. *SPOILERS CAMPAIGN 1* Most of them dressed as villains for that one. So Sam wasn't a tiger but a Rakshasa.
@@dig8634part of it is realistic RP. Part of it is too consistent across all phases of Keyleth and Beau so far to be entirely separate from Marisha herself.
@@Ninjewdi Yeah, like how Sam's characters' racism has been too consistent across all phases of Scanlan and Nott so far to be entirely separate from Sam himself, right?
Cadeucus walking up to the bird patting it and saying it's okay as his bugs eat it alive is a tiny bit fucking terrifying and was not given necessary recognition. Love it though.
I love how chill, wholesome Caduceus sometimes does the most terrifying shit just so nonchalantly. It doesn’t even occur to him that his actions are outright horrifying. He just casually casts decompose on a guy’s severed hand, then smiles and makes tea

Technically their lifespan is 120 years but few die of natural causes. Also they reach adulthood at 6 years but do you really believe they are smart enough to master counting?
When Matt told Travis that the cold sensation of his spells was replaced with a warmer one, I was screaming at my screen, "summon the falchion! Summon the falchion!" I really wanted to see if it had vines or leaves on it instead of barnacles while they were by the tree.

@@ComicSansPony You can be a warlock to pretty much any being with power enough to grant you abilities, also the green being might be some type of fay instead of Cad's wild mother, it might even be the sister tree.
In Xanthar’s Guide to Everything, they have a bunch of different sub classes introduced, including a celestial Warlock that you can make a pact to anyone from “the planes of everlasting bliss” being the Upper Planes.
*spoilers* Melora's domain is mostly taking care of the sea. Sailors usually send a prayer to her before a voyage. She'd be a perfect transition for Fjord tbh
Not fully caught up, but that seems possible. Yet for some reason I can see either Jester or Caduceus multiclassing after Fjord. In fact I think Jester will eventually make a pact with the Traveler and become a warlock. Besides if Fjord fully transitions into a Paladin and ends up with 9 levels as a hex blade and 11 levels as a paladin then that could mean that Jester could multiclass.
Spoilers, but I don’t think jester needs to make a pact, I think she’s fine as a cleric, but fjord did indeed end up being a paladin of the wildmother and it fits really well

The vast difference between Fjord’s dreams and Cad’s. The vibrant difference between Uk’otoa’s deep anger and darkness and the Wild Mother’s warm reception and smile. It’s really interesting to see. That daylight spell on the moorbounder was so epic - it reminded me of Gandalf riding out from Minas Tirith to save Faramir and his men from the ringwraiths
When fjord dreamed and ukatoaha said. "Release" and a ripping noise was deafening. I thought the orb was goint to be ripped out of fjords chest and that's how he loses all his magic

I would not be surprised to see that it was all 'staged' to lull Sam into a false sense of security so he would screw up and talk about his crimes on camera so Marisha could have an 'AHA!' moment next week.
Can we talk about 3:30:40 for a sec? How fast Travis decides Fjord will jump right after Jester. It's so so sweet and proves how much he knows his character.

I hope it would be summed up with a one-shot GMed by the one and only Marisha Ray, featuring Dani Carr, Brian Cabbage Wayne Foster, Sam Riegal, Liam O'Brien, Ashley Johnson and Mark Sherlock Hulmes where they have to figure out who killed Matt Mercer.
Taliesin has just consistently been calling the Moorbounders "Warbounders" since they got them and Marisha and Travis only noticed it once in the last episode I think XD
Oh my lord, please, I really want them to go to where Zuala is buried, and then Caduceus can make wildflowers grow where she was. That would just be so damn beautiful to watch.
As a mainland European, I'm all for changing the American spelling to the correct spelling, but can't endorse a measurement system that makes even less sense than the American one :D
I love how many different takes there are on Eldritch Blast. I have a warlock who fires the blasts out of his palm like Iron Man. A buddy who plays a warlock in a different campaign shoots them out of his fist as he punches. And Travis shoots them like finger guns. How many other different ways of Eldritch Blast are there?
A little late to the party, but my warlock has a rod that's a rune carved handle of a bow, he shoots his eldritch blast by forming a bow of light out of the handle and firing it at enemies. He's a celestial warlock/divine soul sorcerer so I flavor his guiding bolt and other attack spells as him shooting from the bow of light.
I'm not the only one who noticed this, the opening intro cinematic has changed, now Uk'otoa has more than one eye, and apparently some other things, like the bright queen and other drow, as well as notts(Veths?) family. Edit:also I don't know if it's been like this from the beginning, but I just noticed that the people that Beau and yasha are fighting right before the "take a chance roll the dice" part are the snake people from the Temple of Uk'otoa. (And in the "can you answer the call" part the eye on the falcion moves) I have not been disappointed by watching the opening in a 0.25 speed.

I like it.
Wild Mother's like, "Don't worry about Mom's problems they're too big for you."

Eskimoprime3 a friend i DMd for did a rock and roll sign for his eldritch blast, the bolt coming from between his index and little finger
When I played a warlock it was like Ryu from street fighter.
Capoeira kicks, with each bolt being slung off at the zenith of each swinging kick
In the game I'm running, the warlock of the party has an imp tied to a staff and shoots the blast from the imp's mouth. It's quite fascinating.
