He also mentioned that he is going to drill baby drill, he also said he's going to terminate all open border policies of Joe Biden, he also said he is going to make sure they control inflation, etc. I'm not America, but at least, I heard this stuff when I was listening to him earlier.

For comparison, during Obama's last year in office, 2016, the highest price of gas was 2.467 while the lowest during that year was 1.872. For comparison, during Trump's first term in office his highest was at 2.761 with a low point at 2.414. Gas prices kept going up under his term until spring 2020 when they finally dropped to below Obama prices as producers were forced to dump prices due to people not travelling as much as they used to due to covid.
When it comes to interest rates, Trump did have very low interest the last 6 months of his term however, Obama had just as low between 2008 and all the way until 2015 when they started to go up a bit only to keep increasing during Trump's term before a taking a nose dive in June 2020.
The oh so important Big Mac was also cheaper during Obamas presidency, same with average rent.
Now, these are all US average prices and are subject to change a bit depending on where exactly you live/lived. Point being... Trump wasn't as amazing as he and many other people claim, atleast not if interest rates and gas prices are your priority. He's great at creating the illusion of him being amazing though.
