Hello and welcome to our TH-cam Channell! We're Keegan and Joel, we're partners and we live with Keegan's kids, Tayla and Fletcher, and our dogs Ava and Fen. Keegan is an ex-professional Rugby League player and now runs his own coaching company, GMC (Gay Man's Coaching) and Joel is a voiceover artist and social media personality.
Keegan and Joel, I love how you two enjoy being together but also give each other space to spend time alone and do separate activities.
I was thrilled when I heard that Joel was interested in visiting Massachusetts. Sure he wants to visit the historical towns here like Salem, Cambridge, Boston, Plymouth and Provincetown. However, I was hoping he'd want to have a cuppa with me, his self-proclaimed bestie from Massachusetts.
Salem is probably the best town in America to experience Halloween. The town revs up for it weeks in advance. By the weekend before Halloween (if it falls Monday - Friday), the town is swamped with tourists, vendors, concerts, witches, warlocks, ghouls and demons galore. For lack of a better word, Halloween in Salem is unhinged and so very American!
I enjoy when Tayla and Fletcher appear in the vlogs, but I understand that they are teens and the channel is yours not theirs. I like when Fletcher does his "Fletcher Takes Over" vlogging segments because his stuff is so random and presented without context.
I am crossing my fingers that Keegan will someday do a musical cabaret of showtunes involving the piano on the Patreon channel for Happy Healthy Homo. He could do it as a fundraiser to support a gay charity or organization there in the UK. Here's my shortlist of favorites when you think about a setlist:

Just my two cents.
My daughter is an Interior Designer. She went to one of the top Design schools in the US. She of course, got the history, but chose Commercial Design. The Google HQ Offices in Nash, she did the Nashville Airport (BNA) food court, the HQ of Cracker Barrel, etc. I totally understand the Joel decor interest. Always ❤

My son was watching with me and when you two spoke about how Florida has been nice, but you miss doing it with the kids, he commented, "they're just like you and Dad. Awe!!" (Referring to how we miss him when we go do things just the two of us.) I love how despite all Joel's previous feelings (prior to life with Keegan), you've got a little family now and you're really seeming to see the joy that kids can bring to your life. Old adventures are new again through their eyes. It's very sweet. Family game night is super fun and inside jokes and laughter is THE BEST!!

Oh, Joel wants to study art history. That's really where you'd study the history of architecture and design the way you described it.
I really enjoyed that. People gave some really thoughtful questions. It was nice just spending some “alone” time with you both.

Italy wasn’t really on my bucket list but I ended up going & I was lucky that I did! It is so amazingly beautiful. Venice is awe inspiring and doesn’t smell. There’s so much!!!

Very enjoyable podcast J & K. I hope you didn't get into too many traffic jams on Interstate 4 on your way to Tampa. IN 4 can be pure hell!! This was fun hearing you discuss back and forth. How about being a helicopter mom? Yeh Joel. Massachusetts is my home state. Lots of history in that state. I'm from the western extreme of the state - Berkshire Cty. I spent the summer of 1959 as a desk clerk on the island of Martha's Vineyard. Fun summer!!

I have been wishing that there woukd be vlog from P'town ( Provincetown). You could take the ferry from Boston to P'rown. You might even be lucky enough to see some whales.
New Zealand’s on my list, too. Going to be near you two in May (Manchester & Edinburgh).
Boston and Salem are wonderful for food and history. You have to go on a whale watch cruise and Witch City Walking Tours.
Hey Guys, I’ve been very lucky in my life and have travelled heaps around the globe. I loved Italy and Venice doesn’t smell and is 100% worth seeing. If you’re going to see NZ, come to Australia, you’ll love that as well. All the best from Melbourne Australia
I think you two would enjoy a trip to New England. You could spend a day or two in each state over a weeks time. Depending on where you are, it only takes a few hours to drive to all of them. Just be sure to do in late summer or fall. If you went in the summer the weather would be warm to visit Nantucket and stroll around all the nice shops. Salem Mass is interesting close to Halloween, but a nightmare for traffic and tourists. Summer is nice there too because it’s close to the ocean. Then take a ride to Maine and see the lighthouses. The mountains in New Hampshire are lovely as well as Vermont. If Keegan likes war history you could shoot over to Lake George New York to see fort William Henry. They have steam boats, an aerial treetop adventure park, and various other things to do in that area.
I can't believe neither of you have been to Italy. I went to Rome last December for about a week and loved it.
Come to New Zealand! I'd love to show you around our lovely country.
my partner and I met in Las Vegas...24 years ago. Myself, I was with friends from England...the irony...his fist comment was 'Are those teeth real" I am always happy and look like Chuck Norris...and always smile...EVERYWHERE. Since I was the host of the English, (for a few years) I gave him my number and left the bar...he called every single day. And, he, as a traveling nurse...he just so happened to get a job in the Bay Area and needed a place to stay....etc!
National WWll Museum in New Orleans is phenomenal. Keegan would absolutely love it. Very family friendly city, despite it's misinformed reputation. World class zoo and aquarium. Food lovers destination. You guys should consider a family trip, or even just the two of you.

I’ve been to salem with hubby Joel. We went Halloween week, like 10 years ago. Hawthorne hotel great if you can get a room. Book way in advance. Lots of history. 😀

Maybe not a question, maybe more like date suggestions : scuba diving, murder mystery night at a hotel, dress in drag dinner night, animal farming for the day, surprise clothes shopping outfits the other wouldn't normally buy and try on, going to an old school barber shop and getting an old school shave with each other. Do you think any of these would be fun to do?

Brit here, Salem is like a mini Blackpool, never been more disappointed. If you are interested in history, Washington DC: museums of African Americans, American Indians plus many more. Montgomery Alabama : From enslavement to mass incarceration. Atalanta: National Centre for Civil and Human Rights ( fabulous for entry level understanding ).

I have been curious on both your takes on the weight loss injection drug? I’ve been on one for 5-6 months now. I do not have or enjoy a gym experience and i just don’t have time really. Have you researched it?
You didn’t ask me but those weight loss injection drugs take away your muscle so it would be smart to start a workout routine to maintain those muscles .
How in the world were you able to get on that plan? I've asked my dr and she said no way, despite my being more than a bit overweight.
@@harvestmoon_autumnskyi pay out of pocket for it. Depending on what dose you are on, it has cost me anywhere from $400 to $900 for the medication and supplies. I’m have always eaten healthy, and working out (with a few limitations due to past injuries) has never gotten me results. This medication is my last option. So to me it’s worth the costs. There are a few online clinics that you can trust online and they have really cool. I’ve lost 60 lbs in that timeframe.

Why go to NZ? If you are British the Maori people can be a bit mouthy. There are simmering tensions there, especially now that a more conservative government is in. I can't believe that Joel looks so well for his age, and yet he drinks Coke...
Why he is 31 years old and that's exactly how old he looks. 31 is not old yet if you eat a lot of bad foods and drinks it probably wouldn't show up on your face until you got into your low 50s if at all😂😂

I hate to break it to you guys but it's very easy to lose weight when you're younger and active but when you get older especially in your 50s and towards your 60s I guarantee both of you will balloon to 250 lb to 300 lb a piece. The only way to stay thin when you get older is to basically just eat fresh fish with nothing on it and fresh vegetables and drink water, because your body really changes once you get older and everything starts making you gain weight sadly. Also you become half the person you once were you lose your looks you lose your energy you can't do all the things you once did and you basically turn into an old fart and it's sad. I used to be young and beautiful and fit and now I'm disgusting and old and every gay guy I know that's older in their 50s and 60s looks like crap. Even skinny bodies age terribly wrinkles and saggy skin and age spots and freckles and stretch marks, your toenails turn yellow you start getting serious joint pain you can't walk that much. You start to hate the cold and the heat and he can't handle the sun anymore. Your face gets heavy your ears get bigger your nose gets bigger your teeth start to rot, your lips become thin. Your hands start to get all wrinkled. I don't even look in the mirror anymore. When I was young from my teens through my twenties and thirties and forties everybody thought I was incredible looking people used to tell me how hot I was every single day and now nobody says anything and they don't even look at me😂😂😂

Do go to Italy, especially Rome, Florence, and Naples. Because K is into history and Joel art, they would very much enjoy those. For kick-back time, renting some country place in Tuscany or doing the Amalfi coast are great places to unwind.
