Rather than overload her with labour and work, they focused on helping her mentally with this drug addiction and tried to find ways to try and manage this problem, and in the end they did!

This episode was empowering and educational. These men had great wisdom and their approach to Tamzin and Wesley was spot on. Their American parents approach really wasn’t strict. It was more so an approach focused on guidelines, guidance, having structure, and meeting each teen where he/she was and using that as the measure from which they were going to work from. Having said that, the tailored approach used for each teen made their efforts more successful with the teens. Wesley wasn’t given run of the mill grunt work per se, he was provided the opportunities to develop skills, gain work experience, and learned how to build work ethics. His job to work with the neighbors toddler was so transformative. You could see Wesley’s metamorphosis in real time.
Although the experiences Tamzin had was different from Wesley’s it was just as empowering and transformative with Tamzin. These parents ought to write books and provide lectures on how to be effective and transformative parents to troubled youth.
    The episode was just awesome!
